I had the idea to replace the Sideshow mouthpiece with a Jakks Pacific one. Turned out quite well.

Thank you! I didn't paint the mouthpiece, I got Ste from 1/6 Custom Paint Central to do it to match the other custom Sideshow Batfleck.
I'd had this idea for a few years now but I didn't want to spend a fortune on an armored Jakks Pacific for it to end up being the wrong size. Recently I found a really cheap one and took the punt.

I was hoping it might just pop out or just slice around the outside but it was much more involved. I ended up having to get an exacto knife and just hack away until the old face was gone. It didn't look pretty. I took a picture of the point of no return as I was either going to end up with an accurate armored Batfleck or a ruined statue lol.

Taking the risk was definitely worth it it looks way better now that it actually looks like Affleck under the helmet.
