Turns out Jazwares has the license, BBTS has preorders up:
https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/menu.aspx?menu=2768&company=101

And a bloke with insider information posted some product details on another forum (its pretty much what BBTS has but with some more detail):
3 Inch
Steve W/Pick & Coal Clock
Zombie W/Sword & Iron Block
Creeper W/Gunpowder & TNT Block
Endsmen W/Mushroom & Pumkin Block

Deluxe Survival (Steve, Pick, Sword, Torch, Chest & Workbench)

Animal Pack (Chicken, Cow, Wolf, Sheep, Pig, Mooshroom)

Playset (Big enough to have a house, lake, mountains, several trees, pathways. Could be fold-able? It looks really big, If it to scale to the figures it may be 4 square feet in size?)

Storage chest (Mincraft styled 1 foot square )

Plush 7 inch
Chicken, Cow, Wolf, Sheep, Pig, Mooshroom, Creeper & Endsmen

Paper Crafts
(Which I find really interesting. Will kids actually want to construct cubes and then construct them to build the world of minecraft? Blocks will be 1.5 inches cubed, Trees about 7.5 inches, Figures 4.5 inches and animals up to 3.5 inches. You have to fold and build everything.)

Minecart (48 Blocks, 44 Track, 2 minecarts, Figure)
Animals (20 Blocks annd 3 each of Chicken, cow, pig, sheep, ocelot)
Hostile Mobs (20 Blocks and 3 each of Zombie, Slime, Spider, Creeper, Witch)
Utility (20 Fences, 3 each of bed, boat, chest, table, bookcase)
Snow (84 blocks, golem, doors, animal & trees)
Building (88 Blocks, figure, doors, animal & trees)
Outworld (Deluxe. 200 blocks. figure, creeper, animal & trees. Build-able chest to store it all in)
Activity Case (Reversible backgrounds, 42 blocks, Tree, Steve, Accessories and Animal)

Jazwares isn't the most impressive company out there, but it's hard to go wrong with something as simple as minecraft; plus judging from the product list it looks like they actually have some good ideas about where to take the license.
