So, I have been something of a freelance graphic and conceptual illustrator for years. I've never been particularly too successful at it, and it's remained a side hobby/skill for the most part. However recently I've been getting a little more attention and the occasional opportunities for employment. I've decided to invest a bit more time and energy into my little trade, and I realized that I don't have a website to both print onto my business card or with which to showcase my finer work. I just never got around to it, I guess.
I was curious if anyone here knew of or had personally used any online blog or portfolio websites that could suit my three needs: professional, safe, and free!
I'm familiar with deviant art, but I've never much cared for the layout of the site. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate them!
