From what they said at the booth, the kit will need to be trimmed and fitted. This means you will have to be able to cut abs plastic. You will also have to be able to mount it on your bodysuit (via velcro or snaps, etc.). The helmet comes all done for you.

For the price I'd buy it personally just have them finish it. It'd be worth it just to unbox that shiny armor.
