Wow, I really like this figure.

Instead of giving him a pistol, they went ahead and gave him an MP40. Which is great. I'm in the camp that says all WW2 figures should come with at least five guns per set ( rocket launcher, machine gun, rifle, two unique pistols/revolvers) . But that's just me. Nothing would make me happier than if Alert Line, or DID or anyone else, just did a "technician" series. Where it's a guy with tools working on a table full of 10 guns. It's not like these brands don't already have the molds from previous figures.

I like the "camo" on that suit. It's like a ghillie suit if a ghillie suit was doing baby burps instead of miles of burlap. I've never seen it before. Curious how effective it is in real usage.

The DP28 is always welcome. The bipod connection point looks to be the fragile point on it though. I'm that point now where I see pictures of new product, look at the weapons, then assess in my mind where the break points might occur. If I can find it for a good price on the loose parts market, I'd like to add it to my gun wall for my Punisher figure.

Soviet WW2 Mochalnij Scout/Sniper/Combat Engineer camo Suit​

Very nice used variation of the well known so-called “Amoeba” 2 piece camo suit. This olive green suit with a kind of grass camo is called “Mochalnij”

Used by Soviet snipers, scouts and combat engineers. Overall nice used 2 piece suit in very good condition, fantastic on a mannequin!
Great in every WW2 Soviet collection! 1250.00 EUR

The only relevant page that turns up by searching "Mochalnij" was that one, but the word "Mochalny" translates as "grass suit".

("Amoeba" refers to the non-ghillie style of camouflage, the 1938 MKK printed with large reddish-brown amoeba shapes on a light green or khaki background, which Alert Line made under the code AL00029).
