i wouldn't buy one because im not a huge fan of the 12" figures and i think they would lose their "uniqueness" if you expand with them and went into the PF arena.

I don't think I would.. not because It wouldn't be cool, and even though The Dead is my favorite SS line.. it's because the 12" are fine and I'd rather have them make more 12" then one PF!
