You know, I can't understand how people
can condemn Nazi memorabilia. The Hitler
figure is a historically accurate representation
of a real person, much like having a Billy the Kid
figure. Both have achieved a place in history and
not everyone who'd want a Hitler figure is a potential
mass murdering psychopath...maybe they want a
Nazi military setup in their military figure display.
I remember when I was a kid, you could find Nazi
memorabilia at Flea Markets and stuff, now it's
"outlawed" because it upsets people? Hey, I was
freaked out by a Scarecrow when I was kid and
nobody outlawed those, no matter how loud I voiced
my opinion.
All I'm saying is, as the years go by, hardly any of
us lived in the shadow of Hitler's iron grip. He is a piece
of history and I think it's sad that the Nazi's tried to
wipe a group of the Human Race off the face of the map
and now, it seems people are trying to do the same with
the Nazi history. Sure, it's ironic, but anyone who doesn't
see the hypocritical irony as well are fooling themselves.
Remember, as George Santayana said, "Those who cannot
remember the past are condemned to repeat it"
In other words, I just think it's a cool looking figure and
anyone who raises their eyebrows at a "toy" need to
look at their own lives and stop telling other people what's
immoral or wrong.
