That looks GREAT! I have wanted a 1/6 TARDIS forever, but the toy companies seem to avoid it. Just have to make our own.

May I ask which plans you followed? I'm dying to try to make one but I am not the best at following dodgy plans.

I used a photo and using illustrator designed it myself added a picture of a sideshow body scaled it and voila. Sorry I can't help more than that. But PM me and maybe we can do something.
And thanks.

I used thin plywood, abs plastic, photoshoped signs, floresent light cover panel for the windows and jewlery box hinges for the doors.
The plywood is used in the base and the roof.

Some other info that might be useful:

Tutorial for a foam core 1:6 TARDIS here: https://sean.adventureteam.com/pages/customs/tardis.htm You can adapt it to wood or some other building material.

Some measurements here: https://vikki.ethernauts.net/tardis.html

Links to graphics here: https://www.ironcowprod.com/plastic/doctor_who.html (You'll have to scale them up to 1:6 scale. Or you can use paint, windows, etc. if this look is too basic for you.) You have to scroll down the menu on the right side of the screen to get the link to the TARDIS on Iron Cow's site.

Thanks! I really admire your work on this and I hope mine looks half as good! :rock

and vikki, thanks for the link! :)

Thank you for your replies! I think I was a little confused on plastic plywood. Is that corrogated plastic? I actually own a piece of that, but I have yet to work with it.

Thank you for the links, vikkix, I will check them out. I have some foam core as well, so maybe it is time to make the plunge!

No it is thin plywood and abs plastic a rigid plastic used for vacuforming with a high impact strength. Your coroplast is a plastic used for signs and such I have a wack of it also but chose not to use it do to the fact that when painted you can see the lines from the ribs. When I worked for a sign shop we used coroplast for sign substrate and when applicated with vinyl the ridges were very pronounced.
But it would make a good support structure for the foam core.
Thanks again and Vikki has as always great advice
