I've never worked with this kind of finish before, but could toothpaste be an option in removing light scratches/blemishes without dulling the shine?

I don't know if this would work on the chromed finish but I used car polish on a regular trooper to get marks out of the armor.

Wow that IS cool, but after paying full price for the Tamashii, I've not felt like any figure is worth that kind of loot in regular scale. I applaud your courage and it's an amazing piece.

Its a very unique piece. I've received several comments from people that saw it on the shelf recently. I'm surprised SSC has not received this yet considering the Battlefront Shock trooper is now available.

Gotta think this will be soon. Maybe they are getting SW fatigue too. Could be that HT is so busy that they haven't put the US assortment into production yet. Who knows. Still wishing on SS though.

Got my hands on one of these. It is REALLY stunning. Pictures to come.

Some quick shots. He is truly amazing on hand. The chrome treatment is great and the shiny copper color with the matt black works really well. A lot of people dismissed this as just another variant "repaint" but it really is a unique piece that will shine (literally) in your display. Highly recommended to all Star Wars and figure collectors.

I seriously doubt it. They would have by now - its not new. Glad I dumped mine when I did. Its nice, but not $400 nice

I don't think so. The figure came out last fall, if it was coming to Sideshow it would have happened by now. If you can get one under 400 then go for it, I have one in my collection and I really like it.

I'll be honest and say that when this went up for preorder it was an impulse buy. I don't need it. But the thought of having something that would get wait listed so quickly just took over... so I managed to snag one in the 2 hours it was up for preorder haha. Anyway, it came in the mail yesterday and I just got around to checking it out. It just about blinded me when I removed the top of the shoe box... and now I'm afraid to even take it out of the box without microfiber gloves. It is a stunning figure to look at (they even gave the blaster a chromed paint job), but I still feel a little ashamed that I bit on the gimmick.
