In a round about way they actually did. I can dig up my screenshots as I was all over Paul Francis when it came down to this line. Long story short they were going to avoid 1/6 articulated figures in general.

However, Paul is no longer with the company and Grant is coming to preorder soon. Raptor is still in planning financially. Might cost too much at mass retail for them to produce.

Grant looks like an early 2000's 1/6 figure or something you'd see in retail stores. The Raptor looks cool though.

Grant really didn't look that bad in person, it's not amazing but for me it's good. They didn't have him lit well and it's always hard to get pics through glass.
