Thank you TonTon.. I asked to join the fb group. But as I said in my previous message how then to find someone to have it painted?
Finally I better find a head already painted, but is it possible to find it elsewhere than on ebay?

Look up SilentSurfer's Laboratory on FB and also Jacob Rahmier, both are pretty much specialists when it comes to painting Indy sculpts. Most painted sculpts you see on here are by them. They can get busy with commissions and neither come cheap, but, the results speak for themselves.

For ready painted heads, the go to one is the Treasure Hunter, originally available from OneSixthKit but more readily found on eBay these days. Others tend to be recasts of the Sideshow heads and vary in both size and quality.

Thank you Rogerbee.

I contacted a few days ago jacob rahmier, he made me understand that he was not in his plans for the moment to make a new Indy and suddenly he did not follow up on my request , he didn't offer to do a commission commission work, but I think there must be a lot of work waiting.

I went to see on SilentSurfer's Laboratory but I have the impression that the site is no longer active, but in my opinion it is I who do not do well.

I'm starting to tell myself that it's going to be very complicated, I come to think that I should have the chance to come across a ready-made indy customized, even if it means putting more than $ 1,000 in it, but or looking aside on ebay ...

In any case, thank you for your help.

No worries, SilentSurfer is also on FB under his real name Nathan Eakins, you could try contacting him directly. As you're only in France, I could also recommend Darren Carnall, he's in the UK and also on FB. He does top quality work, but is always in demand.

Again thank you Rogerbee for all your advice, I will look on fb.

The worst thing has just happened to me. One of the buttons on my Kato pants fell off.

I'm sure I could think of worse things... but be daring and try the tiniest bit of glue and place it back. That is, if you still have the button.

I have a v1 Kato shirt and I replaced all his tab buttons with more realistic scaled buttons... all with a tiny dab of glue.

Wow, the properly proportioned hat truly makes a huge difference.

I've always found that to be on the small side. I've actually yet to see an absolutely perfect hat. Some of Inigo's look a little tall in the crown and others look a little squat. Sometimes, the crown on the hat looks quite tall, but, it's often the low camera angle giving that effect. I think the true way to judge an Indy hat is from the side, you see the true height of the hat from that angle.

That looks like Trev's orignal SSC hat to me:

I think the shirt looks okay in the photos on his site, but I've never seen any collectors with the outfit so it's hard to say for sure beyond that.

It does seem strange that nobody seems to have the clothing on here or knows anyone that has the clothing. Maybe they are still working on finishing a set!

I've seen them do some good commission work, and if you're in that certain crowd, they'll cut you a deal... but otherwise, for regular folks seeking their off-the-site wares I find them extremely over-priced for what you get.

I agree regarding the hat. I have the treasure hunter sculpt and while I do like the head sculpt, the hat is too narrow at the sides and back. Looks as if his head came to a point underneath the hat. I wish there was a replacement hat that would look better. I'm just not ready to start purchasing a half-dozen in the hopes of finding the right one.

I contacted them a few years back but there was a massive waiting list and it seemed very pricey to me.

the pricing conditions are indicated in the email:

* $ 350 for jacket, shirt and pants (Optional Weathering / Aging for the Jacket US $ 50)

* $ 150 for the bag

* $ 95 for the belt
