Unfortunately they didn't nail the head sculpt. The eyes are too low, the mouth isn't wide enough, and the jaw is too angular, just for starters. If it weren't for the horns and the makeup, she wouldn't bear any resemblance to the character at all. Look up any movie still of Proxima and you can see this head sculpt is a complete miss. This is incredibly disappointing to me as Proxima is my favorite member of the Black Order.

Think there's any chance they'd revise the headsculpt, or is this the final product? Because as it stands for me, it's a pass. I really, really wanted a Proxima Midnight figure, but not with a likeness that's completely off. There's no Carrie Coon in there. At all.

I played around with the small closeup of her face in Photoshop (I have zero skills.) I moved the eyes higher, made the mouth wider, and then moved the mouth lower. I also tried (really pathetically) to alter the shape of her jaw, smoothing out the angularity of it. I think the nose is too wide as well but I didn't try to change it as I don't have the skills. Anyway, I've attached a pic of my efforts.

I think this is a much better likeness, but it also shows that essentially everything about the sculpt was wrong. It needs to be completely redone.

Ebony Maw came out pretty quick so I doubt they’re gonna change anything on this.

So what you are saying is this is about as well done as hot toys' latest headsculpts?

Yeah, the head sculpt might be a bit off but at the price point the overall figure is pretty great. Since we'll never see these from Hot Toys and the likelihood of getting all four seems better now I'm going to jump on this and the already released Ebony Maw figure. They'll look great flanking Armored Thanos.

This will be an instant PO. I'm sure HT could do a nicer job, but it would also take another two+ years to come out and cost at least 50% more. Not to mention they'll never make one because the sales simply wouldn't be there. That's why these 3rd party producers are so great. Looking forward to the final two members of the Black Order.

Also interested to see what InFamous takes on next (maybe something like Valkyrie on Pegasus or Okeyo if they stick with Avengers Endgame, or Steppenwolf and Darkseid if they head over to the Snyderverse JL).

I don't think it's THAT far off. I just hope they got her height correct.

I would think Cull would be last as he'll be a bump up in price. Get people to buy the first three then make Cull appropriate sized and priced at $300.

Agreed. Corvus Glaive should be next. There's the HT prototype for comparison, so he'll be an interesting one.
