I know, I keep looking but pretty sure those rifles are long gone from any breakdowns. If one does show up on ebay its going to be very pricey.

Going to have to wait for the 4th Death Trooper from HT, once ebay prices hit $600+.

its gettin to where im lookin at the reg specialist or standard seriously, flirted with idea of havin two flank Tarkin, the need for this short blaster isnt helping sway me from needing a 2nd death trooper.

do love the long blaster rifle tho, didnt think i would, looks beast posed firing or at rest. the game play of DT in battlefront sold me on it.

via the helmets with range finder i see parted out and my own the gap is annoying where the top sits on, glad i modded mine by prying/pullin finder out abit letting top settle down better both sides then pushin finder back close flush.

anyone have pics of this next to that astromech via SS the Imp one with non-R2 head?

I either missed this or I don't understand -- is the rangefinder keeping the top of the helmet from sitting flush?

yes, look at the gap it will be either too high on finder side or opposite, top isnt flush with helmet. i found it was due to the finder being to far over. once i pried it out abit then put top of helmet back on the gap isnt as bad and not as noticeable, finder can be pushed back and stays.

may just have been mine and the helmets i saw parted out.

Interesting. So do you push the rangefinder out from inside the helmet? Or pull on it from the outside? I think I see a slight gap on mine but never really noticed it until I looked. :lol And then its only in the macro pictures that I took that I see it. I would sure hate to end up disconnecting the wired light in that rangefinder.

I'll have to investigate when I futz next. One of the magnet panels came out inside my helmet so I have to glue it back anyway so it gives me an excuse.

push or pry gently from inside with flat bit of plastic or your nail, once the glue gives it can be pried out some. the wires when i did it were still connected could see them running back into helmet out of sight etc

the room mine is in is light oddly so the light would shine into the gap or behind making it annoying hence my pry job.

tho i have not tried lights since, will do that and make sure it still works, confident it will tho. no wires were broken or pulled on excessively. the finder moved like barely at all be enough to get gap issue dealt with.

yeah kinda pushes the helmet top over or as you said the top rests abit higher than it should, not on top range finder but not down far enough. creates this triangle raised wedge on one side or other. at first i left gap on range finder side but then that annoyed me when viewing helmet straight on as much as light getting under opposite side lol

looked at movie stills and the 1:1 helmets before i did the pry job, def no gap.

I took a look at mine on the shelf and I see no gaps now... but I do see a slight gap in some pictures I took while futzing a few days ago. Maybe I didn't press the helmet down flush when I took those pictures? Not sure, but it looks fine now. I'll look again when I fix the magnet cover.

Thanks for the heads up.

I think that may have been an issue with some released. I remember seeing an unboxing/review and the figure had an issue with the removable dome piece not snapping in flush due to the range finder.
Also you should both just buy another DT for that rifle and for when Krennic gets released ;)

Looks life-size there. :clap
The detail Hot Toys achieve on these figures are amazing, thanks TT!

Beautiful picture.
Cheers Wor-Gar!

Nice shot irezumi:clap...and i love the display cabinets..

Yes nice display. Love the full size props. Haven't got into them yet. Maybe a good thing :)

Yeah, great collection, Herb. Love the presentation and variety of collectibles. That Tantive display is especially sweet. What cabinets are those? Looks like they do a good job with different sized collectibles.

You have the original 12-back plus Boba?

Love the Vader in that Tantive set. Which Vader did you go for, or is it a mash-up?
Yep all 12 + Boba. Jazz's dioramas are a collectors dream, i have the ANH version with mods to the nose, lens and re positioned the dome. Still has the flappy leather gauntlets:)

This is beautiful. Clean and perfect. Well done sir (ma'am?)
Thank you!:hi5:
