I managed to get a brand new and sealed regular trooper from Hong Kong, spent ages looking for one but I think they must be the rarest ones.

After originally having the deluxe on its own, I decided to sell him as I couldn’t find a regular&had too many figures on pre order but after a little clear out, I can justify buying the regular to go with him now.
They’ll look perfect paired up

uhmm.. any recommendations where to look for non-specialist version, been thinking to get one to display with mine deluxe. Almost sold out everywhere and amazon put it at $290 lol.

I picked up the Specialist and the Specialist Deluxe for 30℅ off each at EB Games Australia earlier in the month, via their eBay shopfront (and I had an eBay coupon that effectively gave me free shipping, as well). Don't know if they still have any, or if they are still on deep discount even if they do, but it was the best bargain I've grabbed in a while.

Got the non-scope Specialist stripped down to just his base armour, shotgun and pistol, and the Deluxe with his helmet scope fully kitted out with pauldron, shoulder clips, holstered pistol, grenade harness and the scoped rifle. They make a great looking pair. Tall suckas, too.

Edit - ebgames still has a couple, but they are no longer discounted, and are back to retail prices, in case anyone was wondering.

I just received my deluxe specialist and “regular” today from seperate sellers on eBay and I have two deluxe specialists!
Now would you strip down the second specialist to look regular or just return it?

Strip down is easy. Just be careful with pauldron straps which are just glued on and everthing else comes off really easy. I stripped my deluxe down and the stomach armor had missing paint under the ammo belt. Got another armor piece though.

I got the first two versions, skipped the 'greatest hits' version 3 as its the same thing. Awesome figures. People who passed on this trooper will regret it

I bought it might have not dried when the assembled the figure but no paint was on the back of the ammo belt. It looked like the gloss and and some of the black came off leaving a dull grey spot the size of a fingerprint.

These are great designs and my favorite Troopers next to the Og ANH... Big heavier figures. Real solid. HT needs to release a Krennic before these are gone.

I know these guys look amazing on your shelves, serious Star Wars vibes off them.
It’s the regular version that seems to be the hardest and rarest to find

The material on the strap for the pistol just separated on mine. Haven’t touched, pistols been hanging there since I’ve gotten it. The fake leather material peeled away from the fabric. I’m trying glue, but the strip is so thin it’s so hard to keep together.

Yup. Same thing happened to me. Really irritating.

I used a tooth pic to just slip some fabric glue between the two parts but I doubt the fix is going to last. I think I'm just going to re-make that part from scratch.

Yea I tried gorilla glue but it’s barely holding. Split all the way to the belt loop. Is there a way to take the belt off? Would be easier to try and glue it with the belt off.

It'll be a such a chore to remove the belt I wouldn't be bothered. The 'cut' for the belt is on the back under the big pouch so you'd have to cut there without damaging the pouch. Plus, on mine at least, the belt is glued to the cod piece so you'd have to cut there too.

It's a real pain of a fix, especially with my thick fingers. Had to use some tweezers to make things easier.

Just return it? Why did you "buy" it in the first place? I feel sorry for the sellers who have to deal with people like this. That's why I would never try to sell any of my figures.

Anyway I see you've now put this on eBay, I would have bought it from you if I didn't already have one on the way from America! As there were none available on eBay in the UK, guess I should have waited! Hope you make your money back on it

Thanks man, that’s a shame I’d of let it go at cost for a fellow freak.
The seller I bought my “regular” from is now posting me out an actual regular via ems shipping so hopefully il have it in a week
