Anybody notice the crystal in the Gandalf care video is a different color than the ones delivered to collectors so far?

Did you notice the crystal in the video is cool white now? I wonder if they changed the color last minute???

Ordered my Gandalf from Spec fiction right when it became available for preorder. How long does that normally take for a US address delivery from a Chinese manufacturer? Is it a China shipment to Spec fiction and then they send out to me?

I was imagining an led inside the head of the staff and under the crystal, connecting to a small wire inside the staff that comes out the bottom to a battery under the robes or something. That would limit his staff poses though.

Ya that seems weird. I know an early prototype reviewer said the staff crystal would light up so there must be a led somewhere.

Straight answer here: I think it just came across as a strange question because we all felt like it’s pretty obvious where the money is being put in. Rooted hair costs ALOT to glue in perfectly and style. Add a rooted beard which adds twice the amount of hair, and there’s your cost.

Word on the street is that the Gandalf companion piece from InArt will have a light up Moria staff. I wonder what additions this figure might get as it moves closer to production.

Gotya. That one has a battery in the cloak right? I wonder how they would power this one similarly yet still keep the ability for posing. One option would be to have a wire from the battery through the body to a forearm/hand that has a metal contact on the palm. That palm touches the staff...

I heard that the crystal in the Moria staff will light up too in his prototype review and nobody else has mentioned it! I have no idea how they will do that but that would be amazing. Maybe the base will have a battery compartment that powers a metal contact on the surface of it that the bottom...
