    1/6 Hot Toys - TMS108 - The Mandalorian : Imperial Praetorian Guard

A hair-dryer. Though I think it's meant to be from the concept art. Assume the Praetorian will get one release with all weapons, or milk it and make 3 separate?

1/6 Hot Toy - MMS612 - Episode VI - ROTJ: Scout Trooper and Speeder Bike

Mine has finally arrived today from TW after ordering last August. I don't mind the wait given that it was a pretty huge discount, but would have preferred if it was clear when it was likely to ship from the start, rather than having the expected date changed every month (without any updates)...

The Mandalorian (Star Wars Live Action Series)

Some of the plot elements just seemed non-sensical. How did the air traffic control just take over Bo's ship? A tractor beam would have made more sense Why would the ugnaughts have a list of which droids will malfunction next? How could they know? What was the Commissioner's plan? The planet...

I think you're forgetting Luthen's retractable walking stick!

Star Wars: Andor (September 21st, 2022)

It was all so tense too. I was gripped. Goes to show that Cassian knows when a town is 'about to blow'. There were some great shots in this episode similar to that mentioned above. Stormtroopers standing guard over the hotel, B2 trundling sadly behind Brazzo, Bix looking out the window and so...

Star Wars: Andor (September 21st, 2022)

Another solid episode. The prison break wasn't some sort of spectacular complicated master plan, but felt rushed and chaotic the way it probably would feel. I think that it was another example of Imperial hubris that they thought they could rely on the 'hot' floor to keep the prisoners in line...

Star Wars: Andor (September 21st, 2022)

My original guess was something mundane like the central pylon of a TIE fighter wing, but now I think probably not as it would require a lot more embellishment. I don't think the show will actually ever address it - it's the prisoners' fate to never know what it is they're building.

The problem is in any of these scenarios - how does anyone get out when they're isolated in the ocean?

Star Wars: Andor (September 21st, 2022)

Even though there was no 'action moments' this week, I really enjoyed this episode too. Performance of the week has to go to Denise Gough's face when she meets Syril. That was the kind of Star Wars content I did not know I needed. It's interesting how they're now leaning more into Dedra's...

1/6 Hot Toys 1/6 Rogue One Orson Krennic

Tangentially related but for those who are interested, following up on my post above, I did some digging and found an archived blog for sw.com that said Mollo based the Imperial uniforms on those of Prussian Uhlan lancers who were still active in WWI...

1/6 Hot Toys 1/6 Rogue One Orson Krennic

A good point and the trench coats really evoke the kind of Gestapo vibe I think they're going for. I think it's just down to my personal preference - I think it's the large lapels I don't like. In contrast, for example, that concept Imperial gunner is perfect! I think the Imperial uniforms...

1/6 Hot Toys 1/6 Rogue One Orson Krennic

I don't really like the trench coat look on the Imperial (or First Order) officers as it gives off too much of an Earth-vibe, especially with the large collars and lapels. I think the Krennic rain poncho looks much better and more in line with Imperial sartorial choices. Interesting that one of...

Star Wars: Andor (September 21st, 2022)

Paused on Cassian's court record and it says: Name: Keith Seymour Crime: Suspected Force sensitivity. Assaulting an Imperial officer. Sentence: Twenty five years Bit of a disparity there with the final dialogue!
