1/3 Alien Warrior maquette - Coolprops

That Casey head in the water is a nice touch. If only we could put the Prime 1 alien warrior on the CoolProps base, then we'd have the best of both. As it is, I'm not sure I'll be buying either of them.

    Dog Alien Maquette BIG PICS!

That is indeed a fantastic display. I'm more of a "buy it first and figure out where to put it later" type of collector, so it's nice to see a well thought out display.

    XM Studios Alien Hive-Warrior Statue

I think the alien itself looks fine, not mind-blowing, but fine. The only thing that bothers me about it are those chode dorsal pipes. They've definitely gone overboard with the base with all those eggs though. And as much as I like the look of a facehugger coming out of an egg, did they...

Alien Covenant Xenomorph 1:1 bust Coolprops

I am quite pleased with mine; it really is quite impressive in person. I don't think it was mentioned previously, but the edition size for this bust is 200.

    Prime 1 Aliens Rogue Diorama

Who wants to spend $2500 or so on a giant, glorified Kenner alien? I don't get it.

Alien Covenant Xenomorph 1:1 bust Coolprops

Oh snap, that's gorgeous, especially the teeth. I was getting a bit of pre-order buyer's remorse waiting for this, but seeing these pictures makes me excited again. Mine should be shipping out to me soon.

Statue Predator Barbarian Mythos Legendary Scale Bust

It probably is, but then Sideshow would have to try for accuracy, and we know how that goes... In its own right, this barbarian predator is a rad design. Too bad it will probably be plastic with obvious seams, a lackluster paint job, and be priced at $800.

    coolprops---dog alien maquette!

That's a good question. I guess only time will tell, and I'll have a front row seat for that. One would hope that the important structural parts are reinforced with metal, but who knows. Good to hear! It would be a shame to have to go through the whole process of returning/exchanging it over...

    coolprops---dog alien maquette!

There are instructions in the box that mention that a bit of warping can happen, and that minor adjustments can be made by heating up the piece with a hairdryer and gently bending it back into shape. I wonder if that would be enough to fix those with floating right hands. Fortunately, I didn't...

Statue Coolprops AVP Scar Predator life-size Bust Prop Replica

That's a night and day difference. I have my fingers crossed that they apply this kind of effort to all their future and in-progress pieces. It's a smart business decision, since better looking busts equals higher sales.

    NECA: Alien Movie Franchise Figures

Unfortunately, NECA can't make 1/6 scale aliens because Hot Toys is too busy doing absolutely nothing with the licence, besides holding onto it.

Action Figure TOY1/6 T-901S (from Bloodborne)

Is there any update on where this is available to order?

    Show your horror collection...

My hat's off to you, Burtial. That's an incredible collection, and well displayed. I love it when a collection is so massive that even huge life-size busts can just blend right in.

    Prime 1 - Alien Warrior 1/3

Great new photos. I don't see the much-maligned corrugated tube encircling the arm hole that was present on the Big Chap bust, so that's a plus. I do notice that this bust has a full set of dorsal pipes, unlike the Big Chap bust. Both open and closed-mouth heads look fantastic. Now, if only...

    Prime 1 - Alien Warrior 1/3

I hope Prime 1 one aren't dead set on selling this as is, with that absurdly extravagant base. They took constructive criticism of their Big Game Predator and made adjustments, so I hope they listen everyone regarding the base here. That warrior is glorious and I dearly want it, but that base...

    The studio ADI Collection

Thanks for posting these awesome photos. It's the closest most of us will ever get to seeing this piece in person, let alone owning it!

HCG 1/4 Alien Covenant Xenomorph statue

The base is hollow but still decently heavy and stable. The alien itself comes in 8 pieces: 4 dorsal pipes, 2 arms, tail, and body. There are metal rods extending from the feet that anchor the figure to the base. The smaller pieces all plug into the main body and have magnets inside to hold...

    Prime 1 - Alien Warrior 1/3

I think a better option would be for Prime 1 to do something like what they did with the 1/4 scale "Big Game" Predator, where the statue is available on its own, and the extra diorama base with skinned victim is sold separately (with a discount if you buy them together). This way, people who...

HCG 1/4 Alien Covenant Xenomorph statue

Not trusting promotional photos is still a good rule of thumb to follow, since I'd say Prime 1 is more of an exception than the rule. I have the HCG Covenant xeno and the Prime 1 dog alien, and the HCG is no comparison. Of course, that's comparing an $800 1/4 scale statue to a $1500 1/3 scale...

    coolprops---dog alien maquette!

I assembled my dog alien last night with one minor issue: the tail tip doesn't quite plug in fully. That said, it goes in far enough that it looks correct, so I'm not going to fuss over it. I certainly didn't want to force it. Other than that, all's well. The hands and feet sit flush on the...
