Have you tried contacting them on Twitter? I know a lot of people have had luck that way.

Sending a replacement head for free and just charging shipping sounds super reasonable if they couldn't even tell what the problem was. If it was a major, obvious defect(Like a missing eyeball or something), I'd expect them to ship it for free.

I don't really get why people aren't liking the expression. Sure, it's not super serious, but neither is Mikey! I think he looks incredible. These guys look like they stepped right out of the movie to me. The color of his bandanna is for some reason impossible for my camera to pick up correctly...

Does anybody have an extra ANH or R1 chest armor they'd be willing to part with? It's the one thing on my HT ANH that really bugs me, but I'm not man enough to attempt a mod without a clean replacement. I'd also be interested in a full head if anybody's got one lying around! :rotfl

Yeah, I had to boil the dome to get it down as far as I wanted it, and I think it shrunk a tad and the 'flare' narrowed. I tried to widen it again to no avail. I still like it, though! It has a bit of a stylized look to it, but he fits right in with my Play Arts Kai figures.

Man, you cannot beat this figure for the price. I spent $35 shipped plus a couple bucks worth of paint, and this thing easily rivals a sideshow figure in my opinion. It's definitely not the same caliber as my Hot Toys ANH vader, but the gap isn't as wide as you'd think. If the head were...

I got this guy the other day and I've been tweaking him for Accuracy, too. Shortening the chain was a great idea--that'll be the next thing I do! So far I've lowered the dome and fixed the paint on the nose and tusks, and the improvement is massive already.

Thanks for all the advice everybody. That idea about getting HT disguise Luke and Han and selling the heads wasn't bad at all... The HT troopers are sold out everywhere already, right??
