I viewed Robodad's pics of the Buffy statue in the other thread, and I was very impressed. The body language and likeness are excellent. The hair is too yellow, but that's a relatively minor issue. If the Faith and Willow statues turn out as well as the Buffy one, then this will be a great line.

I agree. I still think the hair color is too uniform though. As I said before, I believe SMG is a brunette with blond highlights. On the statue, Buffy's hair is pure blond. Of course, these are minor complaints. Overall, the statue is great.

Great statue. I'm torn on whether to order it right now. The scythe, in and of itself, is a nice piece, but I honestly think the statue looks better without it. I might be able to save a little money by ordering the regular edition from a third party. When all is said and done, I might end up...

I'm not sure about the chair. As I said a few months ago, a gravestone would have been a better choice. The Buffy sculpt looks good though. I especially like the body language.

The statues look good together. I think the next villain statue should be a monster. There are already two human villains (Glory and Dark Willow), and Caleb isn't nearly as popular as Glory.

Bummer. It doesn't sound like we'll get an announcement or pre-order. So far only one monster-related item (two including the variant) has been revealed. Buffy fights monsters, so she would have been a good addition to Spooktacular.

In the statue, Buffy appears to be sitting on something. And based on the lean and the position of the left arm, she appears to be resting her arm on something. My guess is a chair or sofa, but a sofa would be kind of big. I probably would have preferred a gravestone...more iconic.

I hope there is more than an announcement. I'd like to see a prototype, too.

I own the orb, stake, and Vampyr "book," and the quality of the items is mediocre in my opinion. The orb's case cannot be closed with the orb inside (unless you remove the innards and trim the foam), and my orb has some marks on the surface. The stake is pretty nice, but the quality of its box...
