Never played the video games but pre-ordered the heck out of this and Starkiller. They'll look awesome on the shelf and that's good enough for me!
Yeah, I haven't played the games either but I'm definitely in for those two, however I've got some reward points (and a Thank You coupon that I hopefully can use on one of these) coming on May 1st so I'm waiting until then to order. Actually I'll probably wait a few more days to see if anything else drops on May 4th. There may be an actual SS exclusive dropping that would make more sense to blow my rewards on, now that it appears we'll be able to get these elsewhere (and for cheaper).

This does look fantastic and would look great on the shelf. I’d order Starkiller before this because I was a bigger fan of TFU but glad for all those excited for this.

Revan looks excellent. Just a good combination of elements and colors.
It’s a real neat figure indeed.
Starkiller looks a little clunky and fan made to me, just as a concept.
It’s also a very neat figure indeed. Pairs great with Palps or Vader.

So the collector's edition versions are standard preorders and the limited time release is just tied to the exclusive version w/ the commemorative coin nonsense to create some sort of mad dash impulse preorder?

At least the exclusive is something not very desirable so if you don’t order from Sideshow it’s whatever.

I got a bunch of Sideshow reward points saved up, just wondering if they are going to maybe do a rerelease of Dooku for this event? Probably get Revan eventually. Not too attached to the Starkiller character, but the figure does look decent.

This is a no brainer. I did see an (excellent) custom run where the torso armour was separated into an upper and lower piece, with braided rope wrapped around the body underneath, which was visible between the gaps. The HT version has this braided rope, but it's just sculpted into the armour. I don't think either interpretation is wrong, but I admit I preferred the custom.

Do you have any screens of that custom?

Now bring me TPM waves
