Going by Jedha's video, not too sure how to feel about this. Seems to have dropped off quality from the prototype a fair bit, not as much as their Joker did, though. The helmet sculpt looks pretty off, the overall face looks flat and wide, the unmasked sculpt is looking pretty good, definitely would not display it with the helmet.

Doesn't seem to have the overall body weight that the proto is showing, but may just be how it's been posed. Looks like they did make his frame bigger which is a good job from them. Overall not blown away but looking pretty solid with the unmasked sculpt on and rooted hair, that will be the display. The masked sculpt is completely lacking, they dropped the ball on that in my opinion.
I'm actually liking the production better and feel like this is one of the rare releases where sharpness actually improved or is on par with the prototype. I don't even see any downgrade in the stitching and sculpt quality either, which is usually the very first things we see get downgraded in production. They even made the stitching in-between the armor plating thinner on the production version.

Likeness is now stronger imo, eyes look higher quality and not as wonky or flat. Even the stitching in between the armor plating has been reduced in size compared to the prototype. The figure is definitely not perfect (cape could be better, arms could be more filled out, magnets in the base still suck) but I don't think this is a case of downgrading like Joker was at all.

You guys crack me up. Complain about lightboxes and lighting but you still watch it 🤣
Unfornately the byproduct of there being so few options in video reviewers. All we really have in Planet 33, Justin and you. Not much resource to pull from.

This thread is bittersweet for me as I completely jumped the gun and ordered from Toys Wonderland over a year ago. I have since read a TON of bad reviews. Has ANYONE had a good experience with them or am I just screwed?

The overall QUALITY of the eyes, armor details and weathering has not gone down for sure. Their joker headsculpt looked very smooth in production but this still maintained lots of details. So this is a great released. I imagine a sculpt that looks good such as a Aragorn or Superman would look amazing in the future.

In terms of their cowl headsculpt the actual model itself, the cheeks are too wide which throws the whole thing off. I really am eager to know if the eyes are removable..

Cheers for the comparisons. Can definitely say the eyes look a huge improvement over the Hieroglyphic eyes. The unmasked sculpt looks great, just form the review I'm not a fan of the masked. To be honest, on their official release of the updates I didn't really like what they changed for it, I think the official prototype photos of the masked sculpt is much better.

But I'm done with reviews now until I get it in-hand. This will make me either regret or be happy I went all-in with Joker. :')

Hard disagree on the cheeks

WOW!

So glad to hear Jedha and Justin's gushing reviews for this. The raccoon head looks good sized as well.

Now... I must have it!

I was about to agree with you 100% on the head size, but then you posted that last pic of Pattinson with his head looking positively gargantuan. WTH Wor? :lol

For me it's when you imagine the armor stripped away, will he need a giraffe-like neck for his head to be in that position? InArt's looks pretty normal to me, whereas HT's looks off. Of course Jedha mentioned he couldn't push the neck connector all the way down on the HT, so that may be a contributing factor.
