EXO-6 Star Trek "The Next Generation" Figures

Data’s finally shipped from Planet Action Figs! Hopefully, everyone else waiting from Sideshow etc will get theirs soon.

Still waiting for Data and Kira from BBTS. I would order direct from Exo but both figures I got from them came with damaged boxes. Not a big deal to wait since the taxes are offset by the essentially free shipping.

I have gotten all the tv series characters so far including Judge Q (and Michael and Saru - but I love Discovery and had no angst about getting those two), but have zero interest in any Tasha Yar figure. To each their own.

Everyone has they preferences. I thought I'd skip on Ro, honestly.
Then I saw Picard Season 3, rewatched some the TNG eps, and was like "Nah, I want that."

Yup. I'm just glad I get the chance to get a Michael and/or pass on a Tasha (if she gets made). Who would have imagined this three years ago?

Ro was an easy YES for me. I would get a Michelle Forbes Marian Bowles figure in a heart beat if anyone ever picked up that license, and that is an obscure character in an obscure license for sure.

Check her brief role in Galactica too, if anyone ever does a 1:6 line, would want an Admiral Helena Cain figure.

I'm still waiting for Data, too. I ordered him from Sideshow months ago.

I might have to contact Exo-6 about the lazy eye on mine. I can’t see enough to know if it’s a wider issue or not, so curious to know if others here have similar.

FYI, the eyes placements for the particular Data head sculpt in your pictures are identical with all other ones,. We have checked you picture and the ones we have on hand, we do not consider that as a defect.

Yup pretty much what I expected.

I don't think they have the stock to provide replacements. There's a lot of emphasis on how limited they are.

Also... I think only the owner would notice in that one. Looked at the pics first without reading which was which and it took me a while. It's the left one right? Actually I'm still not sure! It's just hard for me to see. Data's right eye in the left pic? (Doesn't mean it doesn't suck, I just couldn't tell and likely wouldn't ever notice).

His right eye squints more than the left. I guess I picked it up right away, as Exo-6 is notorious at this point with eyes. It’s not a deal breaker, at least he’s not cross-eyed. Spiner, though, doesn’t seem to show this on photos and the 2nd head sculpt doesn’t have the issue either, so it’s just a bit weird.

Seems like we'll get Picard on Picard Day, June 16th. I'm betting Riker will be before or after if they're sticking with red suits.

Also on Facebook they've said Tasha's Season 1 costume is giving them problems. I mean, having one character in a season 1 uniform isn't super attractive to me so I'm not caring personally but I'm sure Tasha fans are. I also don't see myself getting a Wesley.

I have interest if only because I think it'll be cool to eventually have them lined up chronologically and you can see the uniform evolutions as you go down the line.

Wow, when I type it out like that it sounds really nerdy.

I wonder what the issue is? That weird piping around the top maybe? Although if they can handle the collar some piping shouldn't be too difficult.

Although I wouldn't be surprised if the uniform looks perfectly fine, and NT is just being extra anal about it like always.

He said in comments that it’s about her neck/body being out of the size/shape range they can do affordably.

Did he explicitly say June 16 for TNG Picard? That’s a Sunday, from what I recall everything recently has seemed to be put out for PO on Tuesday’s.

Either way, good news.

Sounds like the uniform isn’t so much the problem for the season one figures. It’s the body and neck. I suppose figuring out how to hide the neck joint may be a challenge on a lower cut uniform.
