I just cannot find the beauty folks see in her. No amount of makeup will change that hideous horse face and frail, skeletal body. And that huge beak of a nose.. 😂
Well sure if you try to find the least flattering photo of her on the internet with all kinds of lens distortion going on. Lol

Well yeah, lol. That's her without the glamor and makeup. That's my point. I don't find her to be attractive at all. She lacks any semblance of natural beauty. I never found her very hot even with the makeup, tbh. So I was curious what she actually looked like without it.

The poor girl looks like she got beat with the ugly stick to my eye. Makeup doesn't make me not see that. Just lipstick on a pig. 🤷

Really good first trailer. Although it's hard to watch it and not wonder if Harley is going to end up being just another figment of his imagination...

Ok so it looks interesting and doesn’t really give to much away. I’m intrigued

The trailer does look intriguing but I ain't getting "Joker" vibes from it at all. Feels like a romantic drama (and apparently a musical) about Arthur and Harley. Not Joker and Harley.

It's like they're teasing the Joker persona to get comic book/DC nerds interested in it when in reality Arthur is the main point of the story.

My main gripe with this is that we already had a movie about Arthur...

Oh yeah, this butters my popcorn.
This has the exact sort of tone I was hoping for and Gaga as Harley is hitting all the right notes for me.
Sort of a Bonnie and Clyde + Natural Born Killers vibe - a story of two psychos in love burning the world around them.
I really like the idea of the dynamic where Harley is the one who encourages the "Joker" side of Arthur as "the real you" and mixes it in with a stalker-esque hero worship where she idolizes his actions.
Like one of those women who write love letters to serial killers on death row, except instead of hoping she can "change" him, its his criminality and Joker persona she is attracted to in the first place.
I can see this movie being where the "Arthur" persona dies forever and he, encouraged by Harley, embraces Joker as who he really is.
Damn - I am excited.

Yeah I know many fans were hoping for a sequel about Joker as a full-on crime boss/supervillain, but honestly I never saw Phillip's movie leading towards that. As Arthur just seemed way too broken and deluded a character and very far from any kind of "evil mastermind".

So personally I'm glad the sequel is staying true to the spirit of the original. And Arthur having even more of his crazy delusions in Arkham Asylum feels to me like the only proper way to continue the story.

Well sure, but remove the clown paint (what little we see of it) and change the title of the film if that's the case. It's essentially a bait and switch.

You'd never know or think it's a Joker themed film if you removed those two things. Because it isn't lol

Also the joker color font is the same color as the Batman’s color font. I know that means nothing but I still pretend like this joker exist in the pattisons universe. Yea screw that ugly two face looking joker .

I'd say it's just a very different interpretation of the Joker. Where he never really becomes the iconic supervillain but remains this broken and disturbed man who lives in the same world and interacts with the same characters.

And frankly I think people should have gotten the hint during the first movie that this was not meant to be your typical Joker.

I'm still looking forward to it and will no doubt enjoy the hell out of it. Arthur's story is quite fascinating to watch playout on screen, no doubt.

But I'll always wish for what could have been, a full length film of this caliber about his Joker persona. I think it really would have been something amazing for fans of the character.

The hint I got was from the ending of the first film, that if they made a sequel, It'd be about Joker, not Arthur.

Still though, I really am excited to see this.

Also - Love these looks and hope for them in 1/6

Love that they are making the more insane and "through the eyes of madness" scenes bright, colourful and visually interesting compared to the muted tones of the gritty reality Arthur lived in the first movie.
In the first movie the brightest scenes are when Arthur is on the Mur-ray Show and during the riot and I always thought that was a cool visual clue on how these insane acts of violence were the "bright" spots in Arthur's life and really helped show why he see's being Joker as better than the miserable forgotten life he leads.
So to see them take this visual clue up to 11 in the sequel where the scenes where he is most consumed by the Joker persona are so bright, colourful and dreamlike is such a smart and cool idea to me.
Especially as, looking at the trailer more closely, it seems like he and Harley will get up to some really twisted **** in reality while living out these Romanized dreams/delusions together.

The trailer looks good. Still not a fan of Harley or that she's in the film. At the very least the film will be visually interesting.

It's nice that Joker wears his original costume in the film along with new interesting outfits. Maybe this film gets a figure from Hot Toys.

nice to have a Harley who isn't an over the top caricature.

Now this I agree with.

Truthfully, I've never liked the Harley character... not necessarily her backstory, but the the whole "Oh boy Mr. Jokah" voice and cheap Jersey mannerisms coming from someone who was an educated psychologist. Her character always screamed fan-boy creation.
