S.H. Figuarts Star Wars

I was hoping Jar Jar was an April Fool's joke. I don't hate Jar Jar but I would have rather gotten something else from The Phantom Menace.

Agreed, there are definitely more significant characters than him.

I know I said Figuarts were getting pricey, well, new figures certainly are. Secondary and things are slightly better. I bagged a loose FO Stormie for £45 and just today got a boxed Phasma for £30.

I love the FO Stormie, but, Phasma is.... mmm... mixed. She's tall enough and the sculpt and paint are there. However, she doesn't seem as imposing as she should somehow. Gwen Christie is nearly 5" taller than me and I wouldn't want to take her on. The figure looks a bit like a supermodel wearing the armour.

She'll do anyway, I'm glad I didn't pay full price for her that's for sure!

If you're going to get SHF from eBay, make sure the seller actually has it. I fell into a trap where the listing looked legit, so I paid up, but, it started to take ages for the seller to send it. Then I looked at his T&C, it said 'Your item will ship within 10 days of purchase'. At first I thought 'Fair enough.' and was going to leave it. Then I looked at some of the negative feedback, and I cottoned on.

What the seller meant was "Give me 10 days to find one, I'll buy it with your money and send it to you." I've messaged the seller saying that I want to cancel the order and I want a refund. He can't send what he doesn't have and I bet he would've spun me a story if he couldn't find one within 10 days.

If he doesn't give me my money back right away then I'll take steps to make sure he does!

If you want to buy it, make sure they've got it before you pay!

Did these guys rerelease ANH Luke but only him? I don't know much about Figuarts and how they operate. Are they likely to rerelease Han Solo and Leia?

They reissued TPM Obi Wan and I believe RoS Rey.

Anything that isn't a Web Exclusive has the potential to be reissued but there's hardly any rhyme or reason to them most of the time.

are these still desirable? I got a bunch of them up through the speeder bike, then kinda lost interest. sold a few, but got several sitting around in storage. i assumed nobody was really collecting them any more?

Their new Ahsoka figure looks really good. I have that on pre-order. The Obi Wan Kenobi Darth Vader came out really well.

They've slowed the line down quite a bit which is unfortunate.

Moff Gideon's Dark Trooper armor and Super commandos were shown a few months back but nothing scheduled to release.

New pics of Jar Jar and a Kelleran Beq prototype. The article states they're not sure if it will get released.

I for one would get it, Ahmed didn't deserve the amount of abuse he got for years. He was hired to do a job and did it well.

Kelleran Beq would be absurd. Especially considering how much they've cut back.

No Dark Trooper, no Bo Katan, no Mando Season 2 Ahsoka. Baylin and Shin would be cool. New sculpt 501st Clone trooper. Clone Wars Anakin!

Two Moff Gideon prototypes and I doubt either will be released.

They're still sitting on General Grievous and a Super Battle Droid. Though maybe it'll happened next year for ROTS 20th.

They haven't released anything for Empire Strikes Back. They showed pilot Luke, Yoda and muddy Artoo prototypes years ago.

My theory is he comes part in parcel to provide him likeness rights royalties to make up for his mistreatment from the prequels
