Well, they did have it available for everyone for quite awhile originally. It wasn’t an instant sell out. I think Hasbro, like Hot Toys, are really cutting back on production numbers these days so preordering is becoming more and more essential again. Giving first chance of the restock to their premium members makes sense because they need to help justify the membership, but it really is crazy that they can’t seem to meet the demand pretty consistently with Joe items.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they do another run of them. They’ve done that before with some of the exclusives like Serpentor and Mindbender that sold out quickly. Plus we’ll likely see a variant or two as well.

A detail I appreciate about Retro Recondo, unlike the other Classified camo paint schemes, Hasbro actually painted it on the outside of Recondo's legs. I wish they would do this on all their figures.

It was available for awhile but, $100 isn't something I can have available all the time, especially with some financial set backs I had at the end/beginning of the year otherwise I would've pre ordered.
Another production run would be smart for them to do, guaranteed to sell. I do not want any variant until I have a classic Vamp with Clutch .

Emily says more will be available on Target soon, which makes sense given it’s Tiger Force. Probably not going to be hard to find if the Python Patrol Trouble Bubble is any indication.

The Tiger Paw didn't last long on Target either. I'm sure this will be found in store when it releases.
One rumor is that Hasbro has been reducing their production numbers across the board on every product line so they won't be sitting in Ollie stores. The problem isn't the numbers, it's product tied in with unpopular entertainment that's clogging shelves. They might've overproduced on Classified because I do find those items on sale from time to time. I also think scalpers are taking advantage of the low prod. number situation too.

Yeah they seem to overproduce one wave or even a certain figure and that clogs the pipeline at retail. Can’t tell you the last time I saw a new black series Star Wars figure because they sent solid cases of General Lando that they seem to refuse to clearance on principle. Tiger Force and Python Patrol aren’t much better now. I think lower productions on those exclusives might not be a bad idea but I fear they’ll cut too much and they end up Cobra Island 2.0

As I’m sure a lot of you did, I received the latest batch of Classified Retros this week.
The decision to switch to a heavier cardback is greatly appreciated. They all came in excellent condition and I had no QC issues with any of them. Scarlett comes packed with weapons and accessories, the arrows can be easily lost so good luck!
I’m glad they decided to give Duke a makeover. I had no issues with V1 but this is the one I wanted, my favorite Duke figure I have ever owned. Same goes for Scarlett.
Although I love my TF Recondo, this one is the one for me.
