I've liked Hartnett since I watched Lucky Number Sleven years ago - yeah I can see it.
Not seen Vikings yet, even though I have the DVDs to watch them

Damn, Dornan especially rings as a good shout [okay just seen some of his modelling photos from the time and he would have KILLED it as Anakin visually, he even has the long ROTS hair]
But you are damn right about the dialogue - the only thing I can say is if Jaime Dornan's career could survive 50 Shades of Grey then even George Lucas' dialogue shouldn't be able to end it..... well maybe.... he would have had a better chance than Hayden in any case.

It is current year. It is the sort of thing Disney would totally do. Plus Idris is in everything anyway. He would make an awesome Vader. Just recast Luke with Gilbert Gotfried. Now that would be an awesome Luke

It’s a really impressive sculpt, but it is SO scene specific that it really should have been an alternate with the main being the battle ready expression. Usual the main sculpts are the most versatile and the alternate are the scene specific option.

Wish they had made it a DX and gone that route because it’s really is a sculpt I’d like to have, but I feel like the only pose that would work would be kneeling next to kid Ahsoka explaining that he’s “more than that, so you’re more than that.”

If you're okay with the more neutral museum pose that this figure needs, it'll look great with Ahsoka and Obi-Wan. Quite tempting when seeing them together.

I changed my mind. I want Chris Rock for Anakin/Vader. Will use LOTR style forced perspective to make him Bader height. Jack Black as Palpatine....



Seriously (and on topic) I think the reason so many people online think the likeness is great and one of HT's best despite it being way off is the result of them being kinda blinded by the excellent and realistic detail of the sculpt and paint. It looks like a teal person, that person is dressed as Anakin, they see Hayden as result. A bit like Ahsoka v1 from the Mando line, some thought it was top notch perfect but once finally a newer better sculpt was shown with improved likeness they saw how off the v1 was.

I think this Anakin figure has great "Kenergy"......
