Yea, the back and top of the head are where you can really see the dreads looks really good. From the front, while still looking really good, doesn't have that same impact but I do like seeing all the real wrapping on the dreads. Would've been nice to have gotten that on the sculpted versions also. Sad that they appear to have skipped out on the knot at the back of the bandana though and instead opted to hide the closure underneath the "tail" of dreads. Even Medicom/Enterbay had the real fabric knot on theirs.

If I can't get the artisan, I'll at least opt for Dino's fabric bandana to place over the plastic one


Very true! and I admit on being wrong that it wouldn't be that big of a deal and only minor when it does look to be a worth while upgrade over the previous doll hair

As good as it looks, the solid plastic beads take away some of the realism from the rest of the details.

I love the smirking face, but I dislike the serious face.

Does he have the Sparrow tattoo and "P" branding on the right forearm?

And finally, how accessible are the Artisan figures? Is it a cluster **** to order one from SS?

Depends on who you ask. Some ppl on here have been able to get every artisan figure that has gone up with what appears to be ease for them. Other's have gotten one or none at all. Sideshow does a randomized queue system for the exclusives that tends to fail some of the time. I had a lower number on Anakin and thought I was guaranteed to get one. Then the system paused and reshuffled right before it went live and I got pushed way back. I had no problem getting Joker though. Wanda I tried but wasn't on point enough to actually get one as I got to the queue late so there really was no chance.
