Ordered Cloud & Fenrir from FNC and paid for them and shipping on March 5th. Order was marked shipped a day after and today the status changed to “awaiting shipment”. Anyone had anything similar happen with FNC? Reached out to them via website chat and FB messenger. Nothing yet. This is very annoying.
As far as I understand according to their shipping faq page, if you're using the "Standard Shipping" or whatever they call their default is, you'll get the tracking number after it arrives in your country. According to FNC, you can also request for the item to be shipped using your chosen company, like DHL, but you'll have to email them about that request. I guess that's the one where you'll actually get the tracking number right away.
Similar situations happened to me with other stores from China a long time ago. They would ship out my order, I won't receive a tracking number at first, then when it arrives here in the USA, I suddenly get a tracking number. I have no idea why it works like that with those free or cheap shipping. It's something that I've already come to expect from Chinese stores online.

SGD Tifa really looks beautiful! I'm happy to see an army of Tifas in a posted twitter video! I was also surprised by her size, but it does make sense she's that huge because she's 1/2 scale now. I hope SGD makes Aerith as well, complete with a staff and a basket of flowers. I'm so glad the picture of Tifa in her alternate outfit from a month ago was simply badly shot and skewed her features. The new pictures and videos show that she's still the same just as advertised.

The interest in this is surprising to me because the likeness is worse than the gametoys (and there's plenty of criticism arouind here on that one). Just going to be honest here... looks like one of those life size sex dolls.

I do agree with you to an extend but I do think the quality is good plus I think it's the size that's impressive as well but the likeness is definitely off
She's Tifa enough for me! It seems that pictures or videos of her face shot from a little bit above can show a gentle smile, which is hard to see when the angle is from below.
I imagine one of the biggest challenges for people who will own this SGD Tifa is hair care. Even if in the videos and pictures, her hair is professionally done, when she arrives, I bet the travel would've messed her hair around even if there's some kind of plastic wrapping. The ladies who did her hair are really good! I'm also impressed they managed to actually finish the Tifa heads using manual hair implants and there's 2000 or so of these Tifas. I wonder how many of them worked on all the Tifas. It's hard to imagine if there's less than 10 people. It probably took hundreds of hours just to finish one Tifa head.

I think it looks better than the gametoys head, but the Creation studios takes the cake over both. I think the pics being unclothed give off a lot of the sex doll vibes, otherwise it's more like a jnd figure or statue (or queen studios as well). Or like my ultimate Grail that I want to recreate, that 1/1 Sephiroth that used to be at the SE shop and is now apparently at the headquarters. That's made the same way as Tifa.
As for the hair to answer the other post, even though it would still take a long time, a lot of the hair gets glued on and then at a certain point, you start punching it in. There are also bigger punchers for areas where you don't need it looking so precise. There's a good tutorial on the Stan Winston site.

Tifa Kuji game prize arrived today. Definitely well worth the price (100 dollars plus shipping) from Mercari via Buyee. I love the pose and the action shot and the details are pretty good for the size and price.

I think its quite hard to make a anime style character like this not to look like a sex doll lol. Especially when silicone and big busts are involved!

Also doesn't help that she's half naked here lol, but get out of that mindset, I think artistically it looks great.As for likeness, I think they did a great job for it being in silicone, I also think it looks better than the Gametoys head, just more like life and not emotionless like what GT has done. I do wonder on the quality of the clothing and if the dye will bleed onto the silicone, that would suck.
