Can’t believe it has been almost 2 years since the pics of the big 3 were shown and nothing has been released. Any news with TOS or TWOK or are these 3 figures going to be released in 2030?

I've noticed EXO-6's YouTube"Teaser Video" for TWOK, put up last year, has been taken off. So, I wouldn't hold your breath

No news unfortunately. Seems they've been focusing on trying to complete some of the poster crews for the TV shows. I thought by now we'd at least have another pre-order from TWOK besides Saavik.

I wonder if that landing party jacket is really slowing things down, and they don't want to have more than one TWOK figure in production at a time. Since we've already seen the longer than usual wait time for Saavik.

I think it's better to look at it as:
We've gotten four TOS movie figs put out so far:
Kirk, Spock, Saavik and Kruge.
I think it's less maddening to see it in those terms.

Doesn't really bother me, money-wise I'm okay with the releases being a little spread out. Plus I have 4 guaranteed figures to look forward to right now, Kruge, Saavik, Geordi and Ro

He’s talking delays of between 6 months to a year so he can personally see the proper color in person for the “monster maroons”

Why would that be, when Saavik is just ‘round the corner? Be a shame to release her not to par and then change the rest up later.

Wait so all TWOK figures including Saavik?? Or just the future ones?

Are we sure we're not misinterpreting (myself included) because it also kind of sounds like he was saying he had the samples shipped to him so it would NOT delay the TWOK figures.

Also even if it delays Saavik but they nail the color down I don't know why it would effect any other TWOK figures since none have even been put up for PO.

I know that delays are a bummer but there's a lot of other figures to look forward to in the meantime.

Sadly I will not be surprised if this line is not released for another 2-4 years from now. He knows TWOK is probably the one most if not all fans have been waiting for. Saavik will probably be released in 2 years followed by Spock and then McCoy and finally Kirk in year 3-4 from now.

Anthony seemed to hint on his YouTube stream that TWOK is happening this year, so we'll see. The last email (for the Ensign Ro preorder) stated Savvik was a Q2 release this year; I doubt it's been changed to 2026

Nanjin has been working on TWOK figures since before his time at QMx. I know, because I own all three of his DS Studio TWOK figures. It begs the question, why the delay? My theory is that he is saving TWOK and TOS in general for the big finale. Exo-6 will end after he completes his mission, and he wants to end on a high note. In the meantime, he will toss us a bone, such as Saavik, to keep our interest, but for the most part, expect a lot more of the spinoff figures in the near future.
