It's so good that they're maintaining the mystique, the awe and the wonder of these creatures and not over-exposing them in the marketing.

If them running doesn't come as a result of a Avengers Endgame girl power slow walk, they're missing the point. Kong: "Don't worry...he's got help." 
It feels like every one of these movies has a different creative team involved. I'm not familiar with the history of the Monsterverse but I don't get the sense there's any real vision behind it. Beyond the desire to get Kong and Godzilla onscreen together of course.This is such a far cry from the 2014 Godzilla movie that started this. Even Kong Skull Island was serious. Each movie after those 2 just gets sillier and sillier. I could barely sit through the last one. I think when I eventually watch this on MAX I'll actually laughing out loud instead of just eye rolling...
So much for King Ghidra being the biggest threat. The mega alpha. Can't wait to see what kind of bigger, badder baddie comes next after this bigger and badder baddie. Maybe in the next one Godzilla will have a saddle for Kong to properly ride him.
Yeah at this rate I think they're building to a Professor Kong in the next movie (like Professor Hulk), complete with XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXL size lab coat, glasses and clipboard. Maybe he'll be Godzilla's psychiatrist. Hopefully Shimo’s ice breath attack is handled in a smart and also cool manner….ughh no pun intended 
Just weird to have 2 movies on back to back weekends where ice is the main antagonist wtf I swear if Iceman turns out to be a brotherhood villain in Deadpool 3 i’m out lol
I do think this movie might have a good opening weekend not only because of Minus One quality, popularity and now historic oscar win but the TV show also wasn’t bad and was a hit for Apple +.
That being said the human characters are going to suck I just know it I can feel it in my bones lol

Not to mention that there was an ice monster that was prominent in the just completed Season 1 of Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters. I guess these writers suffered through a cold, hard winter (symbolically) during their strike and that's influenced their work lol...

Yup if Sawai was in this movie that would have been a much bigger draw for me than Kong, Godzilla, or any of the monster fights.
