Obscure is relative. So obscure that Sideshow made a 1/6th figure of him 18 years ago. But times do change.

It will be fun to see who becomes obscure from the new Disney SW in another 10-15 years...
From what I read he appeared briefly in ROTJ in 1983 and wasn't even given a name until 2002, so I think that qualifies as obscure by any definition lol.

As for the new Disney SW, a lot of the supporting characters will definitely be forgotten. Much to my surprise they all have actual character names (I don't think they were ever mentioned in the movies), but I only know them as Nose Lady, Hobbit Guy, Greg Grunberg (Abrams pal who's in practically everything he makes), Carrie Fisher's daughter, etc., etc.. But there are other characters (Rose, Holdo) who will live on in infamy lol...

But that's the way with so many Star Wars characters. I mean, so many weren't named until the "Return of the Toys" in the POTF line in 1997.

B'omarr Monk? I mean, when did Hammerhead get his name -- Momaw Nadon? And Nabrun Leids? It's as endless as the toys.

Stop making up ridiculous names. That sounds like my 1 year old grandson’s nonsensical babbling lol.
