I finished reading the whole thread linked by Asta.
Such an awesome display of the falcon and troopers, I would love to see it in person one day.
I will start on this thread tomorrow. The cockpit is nice and all but that open interior area just seems like the perfect diorama set up.
Didn't realize Jazz inc was making the interior area. And the price for the whole setup with all the extras is not too shabby!

If I had the space I would get the MF interior. A lot of scenes take place there. Maybe jazz will go for a dagobah set someday?
That would be interesting but I don’t think he’d make something that SS already made. He’s said as much, but anything is possible.

Just unpacked my Jazz Falcon Cockpit. My windows are a bit cloudy. Do you guys remember if there is any plastic on the windows that I'm supposed to remove? It's not obvious if there is or not.

You got the DX?
My DX waitlist just converted yesterday.
I thought this was sold out a while ago because i see reviews from 2+ years ago. The Standard is in stock and ready to ship.
What does the DX have vs the standard? I've considered this for a long time but don't really have the space

I believe the deluxe has sound where the standard does not. That's weird that I just looked through the Jazz Inc's website and couldn't find the standard version for sale anymore

DX is $100 more for remote control sound and more LED lights (per the product page).
I added myself to the wait list a couple months ago.
Maybe JazzInc just modified the last Standard version (to upgrade to the DX version) to clear out the remaining inventory.
You’re right, Standard is sold out too now, it was in stock when I checked a week or so ago.
Most likely, an individual(s) wanted the DX and settled for the Standard - I just saw someone post a comment a couple days ago on the product page looking for the DX version.

I’ve delayed the purchase for several years - I remember when JazzInc announced the project and just sitting on the fence hoping Hot Toys would eventually produce one.
Space and price was my concern too - also Danoby’s YT channel had negative feedback about JazzInc products (in general) with their QC issues.
But I got a more balanced perspective after watching other collector reviews who were more positive and love it. I’ve come to the conclusion, two opinions can be equally true.
While I agree with some of the valid concerns that Danoby has (lack of weathering, paint issues, etc), I’m not personally as anal retentive about the flaws.
perhaps I should demand more considering the price but at the end of the day, the diorama looks impressive and I’m not going to be putting every little detail under the microscope when viewing it from a distance.
The timing worked out perfectly, I hopped on the waitlist around the time i had extra parts to kitbash an extra Leia after getting the Yunsil dress. shortly after, Hot Toys miraculously announced the Endor Han!

I only unpacked it recently. Received it a couple years ago, but never had space to put it out (DX version with sounds. The sounds are quite loud!)
