Excellent ideas their DiFabio.

With the "Teal Joker" (official name starting here now) I could see them can also adding in a party blower and the boxing glove gun as Mars do the right thing and add as many accessories as they can.

I’d love to see the cuff links and breast pin incorporated too. Such great costumes.

Nothing crazy but I wonder if they’d do Joker’s first appearance with the trench coat. Maybe not worth it since it’s not that different from his main outfit but I missed the original figure.

I could also see Mars doing Bob the Goon. He’d be pretty simple and a fan favorite character.

I hope we get to see either a revised Burgess Meredith Penguin, TLJ Two-Face, or Pfeiffer Catwoman next.

I’m looking forward to their BR Penguin too - the pictures I’ve seen of the recent one just aren’t doing it for me.

I'm always happy for Batman 89 material, but I think with the release of the Mob Joker, we're at the point of diminishing returns for Nicholson Joker looks (in terms of visual pop and customer interest). The most "different" looks still not done are the pre-Joker Napier and the "Relaxing with a martini" look - the former is basically just a "Jack Nicholson" figure (not very visually interesting) and the latter is only on screen for a few seconds (and I suspect neither would sell well).

I'd much rather see Penguin, Catwoman, Bob the Goon, and maybe even those Skull Thugs from the Red Triangle Circus Gang (like the ones Sean Dabbs did a decade back - sometimes I still kick myself for not picking a few up, but they were unpainted).

But most important of all is Max Shrek - the biggest character not done by anyone so far. A visually interesting outfit, a major character, and Christopher Walken is the kind of cult star that's always going to attract our weird lot and make a figure stand out as unique.

(I also wouldn't mind Vicki and Civilian Selina, but it seems like figure companies don't like doing civilian women).

That’s true there is lack of 1/6 civilian women.

Superman but no Lois Lane (except in statue form). We got figures for Leo (Titanic) and Ryan Gosling w/ 1:6 scale piano (LaLa Land) but no accompanying Kate Winslet or Emma Stone to pair with them.

The rare exception was a 3rd party Captain Carter (WW2 military uniform) and Play Toy Gwen Stacey (semi-decent likeness to Emma Stone) that pairs well with Garfield Spider-Man.

I saw a really good custom Vicki Vale (in white dress) on Facebook a couple years ago, wish I had inquired about it.

Mars has filled in a lot of that void from these classic franchises for a pretty good value - we got 3 versions of Biff from BTTF where you only need to buy the figure once and have the option to buy extra bodies to utilize all the extra sculpts and outfits.

Regarding the remaining Joker stuff, if Mars does Bob, they could include the teal shirt, bow tie and repainted Mob heads but in the classic Joker colors. Folks get their Bob AND extra Joker stuff to sweeten the deal.

I'd much rather see Penguin, Catwoman

I'm in this camp. Let's move on now. I have 4x Nicholsons and I'm more than happy.

Another plaid pant Joker with the purple top coat just dilutes the Museum and Parade Joker at this point. Personally, I love that smoking jacket Joker with the martini, and Jack Napier dressed in black would be cool, but both would likely fall to the back of the display. This is where the OCD "completist" can get the better of you.

I'd consider a Max Shrek because Walken is just so creepy cool. He makes a good Burton villain in his stripped suit and crazy white hair -- an erudite Beetlejuice.

Agreed.
Shreck would be fun to have, 'specially with Catwoman.

Nah, Mars should do the green shirt look. It's literally the look he wears in one of his most iconic scenes ("You ever dance with the devil..."). Also, he wears the green shirt MORE throughout the film. He only wears the orange shirt during the commercial, the museum scene and the parade/cathedral climax. Green shirt he wears every other time he's in the purple jacket/plaid pants. If Mars did the green shirt look, collectors would basically have every MAJOR look. So, I want it for that reason, and I know I'm not alone.

Returns Penguin/Catwoman, Forever Two-Face are more needed and should get more resources devoted to getting them out. But that green shirt look would literally take less development time (one shirt, two ties, a few scene specific accessories; derringer pistol, boxing glove gun, party favor, cracked Alicia mask, etc.) and would be a good holdover until we can get those. Personally, I'm most looking forward to TLJ Two-Face. Penguin and Catwoman are going to be trickier figures to get right IMO. I have faith based on how everything so far has turned out, though.

Well of course I’d rather have Bob the Goon and Max Shrek (great idea) over another Nicholson.

But another Nicholson would also help fund more newer characters, just like that DX08 bootleg helped get them to where they are now with hits like Romero, Mob, Bruce Wayne, etc. After having Mob Joker, I’m seriously addicted. All the prefab tailoring cuts and headsculpt molds are there. All they need to do is create newer hands and a sculpted fedora and I’d be one happy camper.

Really hope Mars do Max Shrek. He was the true villain of Returns with Catwoman being an anti-hero and Penguin a more tragic figure you just felt sorry for.

I think I'd buy most figures from this line including more versions of Nicholson, Vicky Vale, Keaton in his blue jeans and Bob.

Would love them to get around to doing figures from Superman 1 and 2 eventually.

I think Mars Toys would have more success releasing an "accessory pack" with the green shirt, etc. than an entire new Joker figure, which is mostly a clone of existing looks.

I think that would dope. If they re-painted the Mob Boss headsculpts and gave us full-clown Nicholson Joker heads, the teal shirt, pocket squares and the ties, guns, etc, I don't think anyone could complain.

Hopefully Mars does a Bruce in his Batcave attire (jeans and black turtleneck). They haven’t done female figures yet but I’d actually consider a Vicki too. Maybe Selina in normal attire too when we get to Batman Returns.

Mob Joker and Bruce Wayne are such classy looking figures and the Alfred figure will presumably be likewise in hand.

Yeah, if these standards hold, I might be in for all the likely candidates they might make from the Burtonverse - if they have the interest and for however long they can get away with doing this. Is it even a sure thing that they can?

And packaged with Bob.

That doesn't even make any sense - packaging accessories for one character in a figure set of a completely different character.

It's liable to piss people off making people pay for a forced bundling, and makes Bob less attractive for those willing to buy multiple in order to make a "goon army."
