The bonus is -- nothing's really wrong since you never see the legs.

Again, I don't know the material but I doubt it would shrink. Sticking to the legs is fine -- means I can shape it, which is the point.

Don't you have a spray bottle? Its alot easier to work with than having to physically dunk your figure into deep water.

Mike should be delivered tomorrow :yess:

I agree. I was hoping that since this Mr J wasn’t a KO of the DX08 that they would put the same effort into some new hand sculpts that actually work well with the accessories like Mars did with the 66 Joker. But nope, just same ol recasted HT hands that weren’t great to begin with
That's the frustration. They've shown how well they can do gloved so it's a shame they just used these recasts again.

Oh well, certainly doesn't take away from the overall quality of the figure.

With the arms I first tried dabbing on a small amount of water to see if the material would become workable, but it didn't have any effect. Immersing them in a mug gave me something to work with.

Spraying the legs would probably be a better option as it would keep the body's legs dry, so the material won't stick to them while reshaping.

Hey, Wor?! This might make you feel a little bit better. Kit has been shipping crap out like crazy that I confused the shipments. What I thought was Mr. J turned out to be Blade. I haven't received Mr. J, yet. He's cleared custom, so maybe in a day to two. With some luck tomorrow. Before the rains come.
My tracking say that the figure is Custom Clerance but I already receive it so don’t trust the tracking number…maybe you receive it sooner that you can think

Need to check the rest of my gloves but one arrived tackle and has rather noticeable paint issue. Anyone have this issue?

I didn't notice that with any of mine.

Only that the plastic seemed more rigid than usual, and they were hard to change. I used a hairdryer to soften them up because it felt like the pegs might snap off.

The sculpts were even harder to swap. Heads normally snap on and pull off with barely any effort, but I was using much more force than normal and it still wasn't connecting. Like the hands, the socket that's plugged into the neck is a more rigid plastic, and too small for the ball joint. I resorted to the hairdryer to prevent possible breakage.

Finally lol.

OK, what the hell...? My Humungus shipped on the 30th and its already closer to me than Mr J that shipped on the 24th. My Joker 4px is just the slowest thing I've ever seen and with very little information. Humungus -- completely detailed information from 4px.

Is this Joker a joke?

:gah:

Joker needs to hurry up.

Mine was marked as “out for delivery” today but no sign of the postman at all on our street all day, so it’s looking like Monday for me

Probably going to be Monday for me, wouldn’t mind if it’s Tuesday though since I’m off.

I would have thought Monday for my Joker but the 4px has frozen up for 3 days now at "arrival at destination airport" so I have no idea what's happening, but we have a major storm hitting this week so everything will slow even more.

Humungus may be here when I get home tonight considering how fast it flew here. Maybe it sucks so they want it fast in your hands.

Better late than never- the postman came through and delivered Mr J!

Quick initial thoughts are it’s a fantastic figure that definitely needs quite a bit of futzing for the suit.
Headsculpts are beautiful but I will probably add a bit of gloss to the teeth as they’re looking a bit dry/matte. I think if HT were to have done this version, the paint apps would’ve looked too real rather than what Mars has done where it has that look like its fleshtone makeup.
Hands are awful but already knew that going in.
Accessories are incredible. Museum tie isn’t all that bad at all. Not great and Dino’s is definitely superior, but I wouldn’t have been mad if the tie it comes with was all we had.
The museum hat/beret is super easy to futz. Put it on and just moved the top to slant on one side and it stayed by itself, no need to add any weight inside.
I’ll have to check it more thoroughly to make sure I don’t have any broken arms or backwards legs. Overall, very satisfied with it but will probably still sell the parts I don’t want/need. I will admit, the more time I spend with it, the more I like it. It feels like a stronger release than their DX08 KO. I feel like they would do well to release another purple suit variant with these headsculpts painted in full clown makeup with their now better tailoring and hopefully better sculpted hands.

Also, @Wor-Gar - it is very easy to get the baggy look on the pants for my copy. Didn’t even need to soak them in water. Just opened up the jacket and vest to pull them down from the waist/belt some and that gave enough of a baggy look at the feet to match pretty well to that reference pic

YES!!!

Kit has him back up for a "short pre order" for March/April. Just got my order in.

Happy to have held out from ordering on Ebay. So have now preordered the 89 Batman v2.0, and bought Bruce Wayne, Alfred, and Mob Joker in the space of 3 weeks.

Will now get my wife to change my passwords and keep hold of my cards for a while.
