Great review! What a disappointing experience however, with all the issues... I was up until the last moment thinking of ordering this, but with my luck I'd have paid around 2,250-2,500 euros (including shipping + customs taxes) and it would have probably arrived broken... Watching your review...

Finally received mine yesterday. 618 euros import taxes, duties and DHL's 'processing' fee. Weirdly it still came just under the money I would have paid if I'd bought this in the EU - and not the DX version. Overall, its incredible! Much larger and heavier than I expected. Putting everything...

Package in customs, estimated customs tax is around 500 euros, ouch.

I'm inclined to believe that as well. I'm just hoping that returns + shipping for such a huge piece makes it financially worth it for them to give each piece a quick check before they are sent out...

I received mine today. I don't know if it was all the bashing this piece has taken, but I was very pleasantly surprised both by the size as well as overall quality. It has great presence and displayed next to the 1/4 bust it just feels like a proper queen - despite the non accurate tail...

Gah, these posts make me nervous. I still have received no final shipping notice on my order even though I preordered right around the time it first became available on Sideshow's site. Perhaps they are actually double checking these before shipping them out? At least thats what a Sideshow rep...

So you paid with payment plan and when you had one payment left you switched to single payment? I'm thinking of doing the same, I have my last payment showing as being due on September 15th (pushed due to the various delays). I would think if they got the first batches in they would auto-notify...
