No , I did not repaint it. Should be the lighting that makes it look darker. Most of the time the flash changes how the colour turns out and that's why I don't use flash when taking pictures of my figures.

But the ribbed wrist band is still too short. It should be extended more to the hand side.

From the picture looks like the jaw, teeth, inner skull and the hand have been changed.

It is not a photoshop job. Look at the two pictures, there are taken at different angles. I think HT did correct most of the problems on the first version. That's a great news for us!

Not bad for first time! For the wrinkle problem , I would suggest to use thinned out putty(with paint thinner)to coat the face once. This will certainly improve the skin problem. You can see the improvement on my Kane sculpt with this method.

Thanks! I made the head from scratch. Super Sculpey will stay soft as long as you don't bake or apply heat to it. It is a very good medium for sculpting heads or scratch making little parts . I will make some more changes to it tonight. It helps if I put it down and walk away for some time . I...

I google image search John Hurt and turns out not a lot of picture of Hurt in Alien. I then used pictures of him in different ages for references. Sort of getting an overall idea of his look.
