1/6 DARK TOYS DTM005 Collectible Figure MAX DX

It's Present Toys that says they are using leather and they list this right in their product description: Leather coat * 1 (made of cowhide, imitating oxidation and easy to take care of) Leather pants * 1 (made of cowhide, imitating oxidation and easy to take care of) Belt * 1 (made of cowhide...

1/6 DARK TOYS DTM005 Collectible Figure MAX DX

So Dark Toys is Redman? That kills my enthusiasm. The 'leather' on their Blade Runner Roy Batty coat was some of the worst I've seen. Really cheap looking with an odd sheen/texture. It actually reminded me of old Sideshow pleather pieces that were about to disintegrate (tho it has not...

Statue Mezco: Static-6 Conan the Cimmerian (1:6 Statue)

Whoa, this is awesome and reasonably priced! Way back in the day I did a Conan the Cimmerian custom with some similar design elements, but I couldn't make the lion kidney belt work as nicely as this so I discarded it in favor of a skull belt. The difference between pros and joes, I guess...

He is also the Law - 1/6 VTS Justice Judge

The sculpt’s face/jaw is a lot more tapered than the proto, but it still looks like a nice piece. Looking forward to this figure!

    Kaustic Plastik : Conan

Hehe, you start something, then say let it go when you can't respond with any points. The additional irony being, you're the guy saying let it go but you can't help but keep responding. Let's see if you take your own advice or you continue being a hypocrite... :lol :clap

I am living in the absolute pinnacle of the Golden Age of toys.

This is so true. I look at the stuff coming out these days and cannot believe the cult properties that are getting toys, extremely high quality toys at that. Meanwhile, every new modern IP gets a great toy, too. It’s an absolute golden age. The quality level is so high across the board now...

    Kaustic Plastik : Conan

Oh yeah, how could anyone misinterpret your first post as sarcasm. Especially with all of the laughing emojis! [emoji23][emoji23]

But.. you were the one who started arguing with me in the first place... Regardless, I agree. It's pointless to bicker. To each their own. Peace. :wave

    Kaustic Plastik : Conan

:mwaha Heh. Hey folks, what do you do when you aren't able to respond to any points made but don't have the brainpower to realize you can just not say anything? Post all emojis and hope no one notices your failure. Classic.

Chalk Pastels hold up better on TBL bods than conventional paints but they still come off with handling. Oil pastels hold up extremely well but their colors are limited especially when it comes to fleshtones. Neither offer the same kind of finish and detail that actual paints do...

    Kaustic Plastik : Conan

Let’s see... - Arms straight down the sides or only slightly bent. - Highly processed photo adding tone and depth where there is none in real life. Those don’t satisfy me, so no, I guess you’re not as picky as me. Like I said, the bodies have great features (revolutionary even)...

    Kaustic Plastik : Conan

TBL seamless present several problems especially if you are picky or customize: They can’t be painted (or at least paint doesn’t stay on the body when you handle it) and don’t come with much shading. So all of your figures are the same color and look very flat. You also can’t add to them with...

    How To Beat Collecting Addiction.

A lot of the posts here are not very helpful. - people who can’t grasp anyone else’s perspective but their own. “It’s not a problem for me so why would it be for you?” Do you really think that? If so, you may be a budding psychopath. Or are you just trying to show off? - the sort of clods...

    How To Beat Collecting Addiction.

Deal with the underlying psychological causes for your addiction if you can. If you quit collecting one thing only to start obsessively collecting another thing, then there's probably a root cause that needs to be addressed. Otherwise, funnel it into less harmful things. eg, fitness/exercise...
