I saw a weathering technique on Youtube for a 1:1 chromed 3PO head prop that probably would work very well here to give you that dulled ROTJ look. Elmers school glue. Paint on, let dry then lightly rub off areas to expose the shiner surface. Easy to do and if you dont like it, easy to remove.

When I bought this one, it was a pretty generic "I like the character/actor" sort of thing. Not terribly excited and it sat in a box for weeks. After opening and displaying him, I have to admit that he is one of my favorite figures in my collection now!

I dont know - for me the stop motion puppet is the definitive Taun-Taun representation. Ive always found that the live action build up always looked off.

3PO's head has always been a tough one to get right but I never realized how off the Sideshow version was until seeing it compared here. Based solely on these photos I sort of like the Medicom one the best!

Im relatively new to 1/6th collecting and thought it was just me not knowing what I was doing having so much trouble getting hands to click completely! Hoping that once I have this in hand the speckling wont bother me as much but if its as noticeable as it is in these recent arrivals I hope someone is brave enough to come up with a way of knocking it back a little. If Im really bothered by it maybe I'll be the brave one here as I have not ready...
