An overview of what is happening with the whole Court of the Dead line?

Thanks for the puns ;-) No disrespect intended, but... we all seem to feel the same, but no one has more info?

An overview of what is happening with the whole Court of the Dead line?

Can anyone give a comprehensive overview of what is happening with the Court of the Dead line? I understand it's run into painting problems, delays, more delays, maybe an over-enthusiastic "print-run" for some of the statues... Can anyone explain what Sideshow are doing? thanks

Searching for comprehensive, one-stop, gallery for ALL LOTR and Hobbit Sideshow-Weta

I am searching for a comprehensive gallery of all statues from LOTR and Weta. Most of my collection is packed and I would like to remind myself of the complete range ( statues, busts, etc) Sideshow used to have a museum on its site for retired figures, but I think it's disappeared.

Taking care of displayed figures and getting rid of dust

Most of my collection is boxed for the time being, some have just been checked and closed again ( because my collection is quite large). I'm intrigued by your advice on boxed figures. If they are stored in a dry environment without too much variation in temperature, do you think deterioration...

Taking care of displayed figures and getting rid of dust

Hi, I've not been able to find the answer in the forum but maybe I did not look in the right place. I display a few select LOTR statues in my medical surgery office, on a high shelf, away from prying hands... No direct sunlight but over months, sometimes years, dust accumulates. What is the best...

Old-time french Sideshow LOTR collector back in the game

Thanks for the welcome. It's funny, and scary, to see how, once you start looking at polystone again after a few years...., in Michael Corleone's words "I thought I was out... but they pull me back in!"

Looking to buy Templar's Verdict Premium Statue

Hi, though I'm new here and thus have noooo reputation, I'm a long time collector of LOTR statues. I'm really interested in this piece but have no idea what the going rate would be and if opportunities are frequent or rare ( on ebay or elsewhere ) . I'm in France... If any of you have info or...

Old-time french Sideshow LOTR collector back in the game

Hi, I live in France and started collecting LOTR Sideshow pieces around 2003, I guess, having missed the first really big pieces, like the original Balrog, because in 2001-2002, buying overseas was not as practical as it is today, and there were no or very few retailers then. For a while during...
