The details are different enough. I imagine the TE glider is more accurate to the 2002 design, however the HT glider is better scaled and more impressive overall, in terms of size and engineering.
The TE figure and HT glider complement each other perfectly.
This is the ToysEra Fiend, with Hot Toys hands/pumpkins, on the HT glider.
The foot stirrups on the HT glider are incompatible with the TE. Thankfully you can pop them off and switch them out without any modification.
While the Hot Toys is the better looking figure, it’s better suited for a...
Like what? If you mean the medallion, he only wears it during the Transylvania scenes, and briefly when he arrives in London. Without it, it’s accurate to how he looks for most of the movie.
Thanks!
I don’t know. I prefer the tailoring and material of the GF over the DN, hands down. The dinner jacket is too snug and short, and I hate that the shirt cuffs can’t cover the wrist joints in any action pose. I never had these issues with the GF.
The Dr. No Bond does some have issues, but I’m happy to have him. The tailoring and body are problematic, especially with the exposed wrist joints. But I like the sculpt and personality overall.
What’s funny is mine came with a Flash Gordon base, but it doesn’t look too bad, so I’m not losing...
I don’t know if Kevin Feige got #MeTooed and is on his way out, but Disney basically gave Sam Raimi $200 million to make EVIL DEAD 4.
If cameos and fanservice are your thing, stick to NO WAY HOME (DR. STRANGE’s are kind of disappointing.) If you want a metal, horror-soaked rollercoaster with a...
I ordered mine through a third party retailer, but the sculpt came with some nasty paint defects. I wonder if Sideshow would send me a replacement sculpt, since it’s an in-house product.
I think the biggest difference is Iron Man and Batman are costumed heroes so they fit the mold. I’m a huge Shang-Chi comic fan, but he’s more along the lines of James Bond.
The thing is, Marvel Comics dabbled in various genres in the 60’s and 70’s. There were westerns, romances, spy thrillers and horror. Not everyone under the Marvel banner was a super hero.
Even Shang-Chi’s nickname was MASTER OF KUNG FU. He had no powers besides kicking butt. That makes him no...
