So i rewatched this and whatever narrative intention was kinda clicking a bit better. I definitely liked it more the second time. I still get the criticism but this is by no means the worst sequel imo.
also rewatched the original 78 in theatres tonight (fantastic) and I had a thought about...
It kinda reminds me of the reptile cgi in Mortal Kombat or the dragon fight in mk2.
Honestly now when I venture back to those movies I just love how bad it aged. It actually gets me sort of pumped. Its supposed to look so awesome and they try to sell it so hard. The fact that they failed...
Being a dc fan, ive seen many lines start and fail. Mattel (post dcuc, especially) and dcd/dcc were pretty frustrating in that way.
While I wanna see more non-bat stuff, I do kind of get behind what?s been done so far. Here?s why: I think it has gained them more popularity, or at least made...
Finally got my toys era from tns figures. Im actually super impressed with it for the price. All the sculpts have that gloss that makes it look like he has tears in his eyes. There?s also this super subtle drop right under his eye lid on the head with the drippy blue on the left eye.

I think it?s cathartic. Nice to see someone overcome even if how they do it is murder.
I?d love the cigarette before the curtains open look. But I?d also like a happy stairs headsculpt.
The bathroom dance sequence look after the train scene.
The shirtless With an all white face look...
Seriously. What a friggin mess.
I wish they would switch out the fan channel repaint stuff to target and walmart and give the fan channel the figures people actually need for collections.
Im sure they will release this storm again, but i doubt they would thunderbird.
Super sour taste...
Im usually pretty chill about this stuff with this hobby but I guess after the nightmare of missing out neca casey and the walmart deadpool 2 cable im actively angry over missing out on storm and thunderbird. Just super pissed off.
It is insane that walmart and target cant keep preorders open...
Did anyone who ordered from Tns figures from the US received any information around the toys era release? That let me know things were on hold due to the pandemic in April but I cant get a response since then.

They do look great but I?m just down for grimknight. Don?t have much connection to this run and what I have read is a bit too far out there for my tastes.
If the leaked lists are correct (so far they have been) then we are in for much more batfamily stuff.

I actually still have it. And the second sculpt is on my version 2 joker body w/ a new trench coat. I still love it.

Yeah the dark knights metal stuff looks very good. Looking forward to seeing a production sample.
That?s exactly the kind of stuff mcfarlane toys should be doing.

So mattel gets like 14 years to learn but mcfarlane toys needs to have perfected it in 5 months?
I?m also not sure what peg warming means in the middle of a global pandemic.
Seems like they are willing to make changes and are hearing people?s criticisms. Seems evident since toyfair
