they both have the same edition size. but ventress attracts non-sw collectors and has fewer alternatives in statue form. I wouldn't be surprised if she truly sells out first.

it will be around for a very long time. no exclusive version as well. I am waiting for inhand pics from collectors before making up my mind. the mixed media on the last one left a lot to be desired (especially the cape) and of course I want to see a factory painted portrait.

the pose is perfect. if you are a real fan of the version portrayed by this actor you could not ask for anything different, except maybe his arms crossed.

Wampa on the way in both 1/6 and 1/4 scale. It is a custom from a very well respected and huge star wars fan who has already delivered other seller custom statues. I can get you info via pm if interested. it isn't cheap and you will be paying hundreds of dollars just for shipping.

in regards to the colour...yeah it looked so washed out in some pics that I was convinced I had to have the whole thing repainted. But then in a newer review the paint looked just about perfect...I will decide for myself when he gets here.

I hear you. my "comparison" was not in terms of quality. I would say the majority of custom stuff is BETTER than the licensed versions. but as you indicated, you cannot "compare" a licensed collectible with a set edition size to something that is essentially made to order with no set edition...

lol. a custom, unlicensed run cannot be compared to a licensed limited edition collectible. that's the point.

I could not disagree more. edition sizes should mean something.

never. at least nothing licensed. there may have been a one off custom by a prop builder.
