Congratulations. I hadn't picked up many figures in awhile since the wife and I were saving to buy a bigger house. We now got the house and now I just need to buy new shelving to display everything. I did get Jedi Luke and Empire Vader though and they are awesome pieces. Waiting on Bespin Han and a Empire Lando to be announced.

I cannot get this guys right pointing hand to secure onto the peg. It’s on there but any movement and it will come loose. I always have SUCH a hard time with the hands. Plus the belt comes unhooked so easy I’m tired of messing with it.

Use a bit of double sided tape on the belt.

I got this from a friend for Christmas (they didn't know I already have/had Hot Toys Vader out the wazoo between the ANH, Rogue One and Tarkin versions).

Other than the "swoosh" saber and base, I'm not impressed with it at all. The stupid helmet keeps popping off (and doesn't go as low as I'd like it), the hands feel like they're hanging by a thread. No matter how much I futz it, I just can't find a look that I'm happy with. His face looks so surprised and dopey and I hate those seams where his mask meets the tusks on the left and right side. It looks like his face mask should come off, and yet it doesn't since they're saving that for the ROTJ version. I just don't like it at all. I feel bad because this was a gift and I'm basically faking excitement.

Having owned all 4 Vaders now, the Rogue One and Tarkin 2-pack are the best of them out of the box. The ANH has those crappy gloves and this ESB one is just awkward to hold and to look at.

I will say this, the face/helmet/head does look good from low, side angles. Other than that, I hate that headsculpt.

I had the same issue with the arm I really had to add some force, as far as I can tell it’s on there. My problem is one of the boxes on the belt I can’t get open to put batteries in.

Use a bit of museum putty inside the helmet, will not get off easily again. And compared to ANH/RO the ESB lid stays up more, giving Vader than surprised look, depending on scene.
