I wish it included a mouth plate from the interrogation scene.

Yeah it's definitely a more generic angry mouth than a bonda fide "swear to me" expression. Bit of a missed opportunity but I still like that mouth and the neutral one. It's the other one with the Elvis curl I really don't care for.

The cowl overall is great apart from not being able to move the eyes. Certainly more accurate than the cowl on the QS001. The proportions of the figure are spot on, it's just that satin finish that lets it down for me. Still wondering if anyone will put some dull cote on it to get that true matte finish the Enterbay has.

Still wish they went with this expression over the Elvis mouth, which I doubt anyone will use.

Looking at the angry mouth plate, it doesn't indeed look like the 'SWEAR TO ME!' expression, but it does a good job nonetheless. I'm not too fond of the Elvis curl either.

I quite like the proportions/silhouette of it, it looks big, bulky, as I'd imagine Batman to be (though for me he could've been a bit more, but I'm certainly not complaining). As far as the suit, it feels goo in hand. Hmmm, in terms of screen accuracy, I think both the Enterbay and this HT represent it well. In some scenes, the suit looks like a matte charcoal, however in some others it looks shiny (like that scene where Batman talks to Gordon at his house, I thought it looked really shiny).

I think I’ll be preordering this 1/4 batman from sideshow soon. Though I’m not sure if I should go for the dark knight rises 1/4 instead...I’m going to watch a video comparison but does anyone know of a written comparison or does anyone have any input on the better figure? I guess it comes down to which look I like better but they are both so different from one another and I like them both pretty equally....which is a better purchase?

You can still grab this for $485 on sideshow. I would think the QS001 TDKR figure would run over $700-$800.

I had the qs001 it’s a great companion piece to the Joker coming it was a great figure. But to get it again I’m gonna pass at those prices and just get the Prime 1 Bale instead. If they offer it again I may grab it. But the Batman begins is a solid piece Sideshow had it for free shipping and $40 off a few weeks back. So patience will pay off.

Im sure this was answered but I can’t find it in the forum...has anyone used the NECA 1/4 batman cape on the 1/4 hot toys Batman begins? Are they compatible?

I can’t believe hot toys failed so badly at the cape... it really Is like a very iconic pose in my mind for Batman to have his cape over his shoulders..that’s such a weak point in hot toys design.

Have a look for Dean Knight on Youtube; he has a number of videos where he swaps parts of the Neca, HT and Enterbay.

Ah....if I counted right; he has like.....67 Batman begins figure videos. Wow, my goodness. Lol do you have like a title or something to work with?

Thanks for the videos! Gosh if that hot toys was just matte with a bigger velvet cape that allowed for draping over his shoulders...it would be perfect! Lol

I finally did it! Have 1/4 hot toys Batman in preorder at sideshow.

So the shine that hot toys had isn’t so bad...after seeing multiple pictures of the suit online and in movie; sort of looks like enterbay is a little to much matte. I’m assuming it all had to do with lighting.

I have a black velvet cape on my watch list on eBay...says it’s compatible with hot toys and it’s like 45 bucks so I really hope it is.

Anyone know where I can find a really good black velvet cape elsewhere?

Also I’m wondering if I can just go to a fabric store and cut out a cape the size and shape of enterbay a cape in order to have it draped over the shoulders...I think it would be a fraction of the price and I’m wondering if there is a reason why everyone else is not doing this?? Lol
