Well, for one of these new films in the Aliens and Robots franchises, which seem to be getting less and less popular as they go on, it'd really want to be soon. And not Hot Toy's definition of soon.

Yep, exactly my reason for now thinking they just might actually not do this one the further and further it gets from when the film actually released. I really thought it’d be up for PO by now.
If they were willing to scrap making figures of some Star Wars TLJ characters due to it being a heavily divided film among fans, they’d most certainly be willing to scrap a Predator figure from a film that generated little to no interest.
Perhaps one day they’ll get bored and decide to do it. But even then, they’d most likely just do another Iron Man variant if they got bored.

So HT was at the Tokyo Comic Convention. This didn’t appear to be on display, or they at least didn’t show any pictures of it. The fact that this was still previously being shown at conventions was all that was still leading me to believe that they might still put it up for PO.
Given that they didn’t show anything of it at the Tokyo convention, I’m going to say it’s probably been scrapped for the time being.

I think that was just a placeholder. The only time I saw it displayed on that was at SDCC. It was on display at another con a couple of months ago (not sure which), and it was displayed on the base that you see in the above image.
If they do end up releasing this, my guess is that it's going to come with a base like the one above, with a couple of those interchangeable graphic base cards. Which means for me, on a standard oval base he'd likely go.

why? why waste the plastic? wolf was a refreshing design after AVP - it was a character design few didn't feel favorable about, so it made sense to make it even though the movie wasn't well received. Few like this design, fewer liked the film. Just, cripes, make one of the lost hunters, make another jungle hunter! this is a waste.

I’ve actually come to like the first AvP. Always felt it was better than AvPR, but I’m starting to actually like it. Wolf’s scenes still remain the only good thing about AvPR for me.
I rank TP above only AvPR, but I did like Fugitive Predator, so I hope this makes it to PO.

There is still no guarantee it will be made. We have seen plenty of items shown and conventions in the past that never made it to PO. If it does and you don't like it, just don't PO it.
I was not crazy about the film, was not keen on the look of this predator but it has grown on me and after seeing the film and the character portrayal I wouldn't mind picking this up.
Now it has been said a million times on the plot holes etc, but we are talking about the figure itself. I like the figure, and the uniqueness of its design. I would like to see a diorama style base that looked like part of the interior of the ship though. Maybe even the seat with console would be cool.

Hot Toys should put out a diorama base similar to this! Most likely they won’t since the movie didn’t do well. If they do make him, I don’t see them putting that much effort into this Predator with a base like that. If anything we’ll get a simple standard movie base and nameplate. But if they can make a 1/6 Fugitive Predator just as good in detail as this 1/4 statue, I’d buy it!

they should fire Tsang, hire Neca sculptor and make a normal P1 and P2 instead of this transvestite crap above.
