I watched it on Saturday. Animation was really pretty. But I thought the movie was total crap lol. I wanted to like it because I think this statue is neat, but nope.

The anime art style was good, some parts of the movie were good and then there was a part of the movie that was just weird and nonsensical.

Anime art was cool. Fighting castles and monkey mecha machines were a bit OTT. Wanted to like it more.

I just watched it over the weekend and even for someone like me who likes anime, this Batman Ninja was a bit too much. It's like they threw in all the old Anime tropes into the movie.

That's exactly what they did. The Japanese animation team was at WonderCon, and they said straight out that they wanted to include all aspects of an anime film into a Batman story. Giant robots, little talking animals, the whole shebang.

I love all the DC animated movies (always 1000% better than any of the live action ones). Batman Ninja is not like any of those previous movies, it is so over the top and every possible anime cliché thrown in that it's good, in my opinion. It seems they went for that route and they definitely accomplished what they set out to do. I know this will be a decisive movie with some saying it's garbage and some saying it's good. Overall I think it was entertaining for what it is.

Wow I still need to see it, thanks for all the great reviews. I always love crazy insane action movies. Also all the weird cool anime stuff I love! So I will definitely watch it now. I can't wait to see all the villain designs!

The main highlight for me was the character designs. Those were fantastic. The story was ok. Like I said before and has been reiterated here without trying to spoil the movie for anyone, but the third act fighting sequence was just really,...ridiculous. Ridiculous to the tenth power absurd. That part just ruined it for me and I actually enjoyed it up to that point.

Do they have nudity in this cartoon? You know it’s manga. But then it’s DC so they probably won’t approve it. Not asking for it but curious how DC approach this?

It was exactly the same for me as well. It started going downhill for me starting from that weird art direction for that single scene with Red Hood, Joker and Harley at the 'farm'.

Oddly enough, for a movie with so many of the Anime tropes, I don't think there was any animated nudity. You should be safe showing this to minors and they may actually like the absolute craziness of the last third act of the movie.
