This Bats and the Joker look awesome. I wish Sideshow would come out and say “We plan to dive deep into DC and basebthem off of recent PF statues”, that would atleast give me peace of mind that there are more after these two.

Followed by "We've also started using new bodies for our figures that can actually hold a pose."

I'm tempted to get this because I love the look of the new Joker but having both Batmans before I have a feeling Joker will fit in with those just fine.

TheReviewSpot appears to have got an advanced copy from Sideshow.

It took about 30 seconds to realize this is a pretty sad excuse for a figure with it's big head, long neck, skinny body & cheap outfit....then they showed the Bruce Wayne head. Suddenly it became a bizarre sitcom. Whew.

Well to each his own, I have this on preorder and I don’t regret it; nevertheless, I do see some flaws. Mainly, his waist is just to tiny. The utility belt is very bulky and his thighs are large so it almost looks like the top half of his body above his utility belt does not belong on the bottom half. Also a few times it sort of looked like he was wearing a scarf, like the fabric was sticking out a little to much from the back of his neck and it wasn’t perfectly in unison with the back of his head.

I really do like how you can cover his whole body with the cape tho...like he is disappearing into the shadows. I think the figure in hand will be a lot more appealing once you are able to pose him the way you want and experiment with the way you want his cape to sit; which I think will make a lot of difference for each individual.

It isn’t easy to take a Batman that is completely comic centered and translate it into a more real life, practical, piece. It almost looks silly and it should. Which is why the cinematic Batman usually has a straight black and leather look to his suit.

Overall; it’s not perfect but It is a super nice generalized comic version.

Only 1000 copies

This will easily be around in 8-12 months.

Bruce Wayne headsculpt is weird.

Review was well produced but about 23 minutes too long. How can a review of this figure be longer than an episode of Friends?

1000 is only for the exclusive with the Bruce Wayne head. Not a 1000 total. Considering how off the Wayne head looks, this will definitely be around for awhile. And the regular version without the Wayne head is $10 cheaper at $210

I still think it's a pretty cool looking comic Batman. Better than the previous version, but at least that one came with a few more accessories. Batman needs his toys.

The headsculpt doesn’t look good but not all people are good looking. I can appreciate an ugly, but functional head sculpt. In person, if I were to see this guy my first impression would be that he isn’t someone who could relax. Still, it holds a lot of character and he looks very intelligent. Anyone who would do what batman does and dress in a costume like that has got to have a lot of character; I would suspect some mental issues. Being a benefit to society, being a genius, it doesn’t matter how much of a hot shot one would be; no one can really pull off wearing what Batman did in the comics and be taken seriously. So it’s almost a relief to have the guys face look like he is some sort of overly focused hermit type weirdo. Lol

I agree on the accessories quote....I’m a little shocked and disappointed where they come off thinking they should charge such a high price being only two away from no accessories at all.

Wow a lot of hate for this figure! I'm as critical of Sideshow as anyone, especially their recent Batman PF, but I can't help but really like this figure. Yes the Wayne sculpt sucks but I would never display him with that anyway. Low on accessories...can't argue with that but we knew that when it was first revealed last year.

I see very little drop off from the prototype people were worried about. Love the suit, the colours, the belt and the cowl sculpt. The cape is better than anything HT has done for Batman and not having to remove the pegs each time you change the hands will be a relief! Proportions look fine to me. He's not huge but the muscle detail is nice and it's good to have a more trim, younger looking Batman for a change.

Finally the way you can bend his head right down is something every Batman figure should have to pull off that classic moody pose. I'm in the minority but can't wait to add this to the collection.

Aside from the Wayne sculpt this looks great to me. The suit, belt, cape fabric, gauntlets and boots all look top notch. I like the cowled sculpt a lot. The neck is a touch long and the could be just a little more muscular but it sure isn’t any where near as bad as Supes.

The suit looks better, the pointless lines less noticeable.

Headsculpt looks good but not interested in the unmasked.

Will he have a floppy SS body like all the predecessors? Somebody needs to address the body issues and reassure us that measures have been taken to fix the problems.
