That actually would have been a good sculpt expression for the JL version. Especially if they did JL Superman right by fabricating a new sculpt with the correct JL hairstyle, and giving him this expression:

Would have been cool to have both Superman and WW with subtle smiling expressions, as chance of pace from the more determined BvS expressions.

But there was no way they were going to sculpt a new sculpt for the TA version, then sculpt another entirely brand new sculpt for the JL version so close together.

I love the Trinity SilverStar17

I’m planning on posting new ones with the JL version..counting the days :impatient:

Great pics.

Yes, same here regarding the BvS Trinity. The BvS Trinity is probably one of my more favorite displays in my collection.

Hmm, just noticed in all the filming pics for the new movie that they've ditched the harness completely. I guess because they wanted a cleaner and more classic look for the 80s?

I guess the good thing about already having the BVS figure is the brighter colors can work for the new movie too, in case HT doesn't release a new version. You'd just have to find a different way to attach the lasso...

That’s true, I actually didn’t notice that until you pointed it out. Though this is the only picture I’ve seen of WW from WW84:

So I wonder if the lack of a harness is a permanent look for her in this film, or something just for that particular scene? If it’s the former, I’m not sure I like that. I prefer the harness myself.

I’d be inclined to say though that it’s probably something just for that particular scene, if I had to venture a guess.

There were these pics too. And she also wasn't wearing it when she visited the hospital in costume either, although I suppose that could have just been a comfort thing.

I think on Gadot the more classic look works really well, but as far as the figure goes I still like having the extra detail there.

I don’t mind the lack of the harness. But it’s funny how in the comics and cartoons the lasso magically stuck on the side of her stars spankies :lol

Probably close to a $200mil movie and all they had was a cheap cooler from Costco for Gal to stand on....were is the actor's union!?

any mary poppins dolls outfits that could be kit bashed :dunno
not strictly screen accurate i know but
this one has a similar overall look

Went ahead and bought a TA head off ebay with a discount I had, so I can attempt Ptapang's mod. I may not care for the JL sculpt at all, but there's no denying that it makes the BVS head look really cartoonish and doll-like in comparison.

Having all three in hand, I think if Ptapang uses the JL body as opposed to the BVS with his fantastic custom..there you go.

for sure... I'll get the JL body once the price goes down. In the meantime I did mod my BVS body to fit the armor better by shaving down her bewbs so I can push it up higher and allow her to move a little in the torso area.
