Re: Bruce Willis Die Hard figure head sculpt

To my eye, it looks more With a Vengeance but it could also work '88 John. I'll take another picture on my DH1 custom.

Ahhhhhhh -- distracted by Mad Max Mel!!!!

OK, McClane looks good either way. That's a great t-shirt you have for him. Is that the Bruce Lee one? I've been on the hunt for a proper tank for more than a decade.

I just finally finished my years long Indy bash... I think its time I get to completely my McClane. :lol

Re: Bruce Willis Die Hard figure head sculpt

These are my two Die Hard customs and two figures I love! Don't know if they will ever be made by a legit company for commercial sale. Both original MJ Choi heads with the Yunsil out fit. HT Two-Face pants on one.

Sorry for quick iphone pics, I have better pics somewhere on my hard drive.

They look like they have the head I've been looking for.

Re: Bruce Willis Die Hard figure head sculpt

That's because those are MJ Choi original sculpts. You won't find one for cheap...

Thanks![emoji3]
No original paint on recast. I did sculpt some extra hair on him to try and catch that Wolverine hair he has in some scenes.

I went through a couple too before finding this tank top.

I’m pretty happy with it. I got it from Hegemony77 on Etsy. It’s XXL sized for a TTM20 so its loose and hangs but looks like a right fit for McClane.

That's Sideshow's Indy Temple of Doom body. I think they've used it for other figures too.

Im always on the never ending lookout for a body that will help with the oversized MJ head, and this is my latest bash. These Phicens are weird and not perfect by any means, but i did attempt to stuff the arms with some bubble wrap and cotton to not make them so skinny. I also used a silicon based paint to weather him up and get some blood and sweat on him. Its still not the most ideal solution, but im getting closer!

My god, that's inventive.

I haven't finished my bash yet -- I know, but it took me many, many years to finish Indy -- but the last body I recall thinking would work great for McClane was a Tony Stark body (mechanic I think) because it had a wide torso and not such massive arms. Seemed like a "buff" man body from the 80's that's not Arnold.

The down side was you have to remove the arc reactor and cover the hole it leaves in the chest. The Solo body is a little too slim but might also work well because of its not-so-pinched waist. But like Chili, I have not yet found the perfect McClane body.

what I have mine on is the Nathan drake torso with tony stark arms and a bit of padding around the waist and the legs extended a touch. It makes him more "ghostbusters" scale but it makes it proportionate to the head.

Just yesterday I was realizing I need to upgrade the pants for the first time in like 8 years on my Mcclane bash. I liked the overall fit and cut of the Nerve Toys Two face which is a terrible suit lol. But the pants are OK provided I can manage to darken them a bit with dye and fasten a turn up cuff situation.
