Even if you cover up the JL hair in those pics with your hand, the nose still looks bigger, so I'm not quite understanding that argument.

I just got the Training figure today as well, and there's no angle where the nose appears long and pointy like that.

:exactly:

I noticed no one could rebut my statement when I pointed that out, thanks for confirming that, so that proves its not exactly the same sculpt, even if everything else about is the same, which I don't believe it is. This looks like a cross between the BVS HS and Training one.

Both my BvS and training armour figures have a big nose when viewed from the side. Luckily you don't notice it front on.

Not sure why they keep giving her a big nose but didn't they do the same to Cavill? I've sold my Superman now awaiting the JL version but from memory I'm sure they overdid his nose also.

Sorry got sidetracked, yes, my training armour figure has the big nose in profile. It looks the same. It's the same headsculpt.

Question - has anyone tried to swap out one edition of a figure for another? I ordered the standard edition, but then decided for what little extra money it was I'd like to go ahead and get the deluxe with robe. Both are still in stock for pre-order. I contacted Sideshow, and said they couldn't do it. This seems... odd. Usually they are more accommodating. And I'm trying to give them more money. Anyone else done something like this before? I wrote back sort of expressing my surprise and I haven't heard back from them yet.

Yeah I went through that with SS when I wanted to switch from the regular Harley Quinn to the exclusive. They told me no because of some sku nonsense. I wound up returning it and buying the exclusive from a private seller

If you look on the HT website on the details for this figure it says 'newly painted head sculpt' whereas the JL Batman says 'newly developed head sculpt'.

Yeah, they brought up the different SKU as though that were an excuse. If nothing else, they should be able to cancel one order and re-order the deluxe and apply my money already given to the other order. That's not an extraordinarily sophisticated thing for ordering software to do.

If they stick to their guns, I guess I'll just do what you did. And reconsider ordering with them in the future. Their CS was the main reason I kept ordering from them.

It's not just about how big the nose is, it's about the shape as well and I can't find any pics of the Training sculpt where the nose looks like the JL sculpt.

It looks the same. It's the same headsculpt.

I have sources that have seen both in hand and tell me otherwise, but I don't know for sure, it just doesn't look the same to me.

Big? Yes. Pointy? Not so much, at least to my eye. But there's probably no point in arguing over this until we can get some proper in hand pics.

I agree completely. Once I have the JL version in hand I can say 100% definitely. To me, from pictures at least, it's the same head.....but will have to wait and see for absolute confirmation.

If it was a completely new sculpt HT would have listed it as "newly developed head sculpt" instead of just "newly painted" as they have done. The tiara covering her brow hides the very noticeable frown so combined with the rooted hair and new paint it looks different I guess.

Not getting Cyborg really sucks. Always gonna look wrong having all but one of the team displayed. I wonder when we'll see the next JL figure release.

Again, if I’m being honest, I actually think I like the BvS sculpt better. Possibly the overall figure as well.

I don't know, the JL nose still appears to just out a bit more in his profile comparison. It's very subtle, but still enough to throw things off.

Agreed. I’m sure it is the same sculpt, but there’s just something about that nose on the JL sculpt that looks slightly larger than the TA sculpt.

Fantastic video Justin. It looks like the JL Wonder Woman is by far the better one for sure. I'm very happy with what I'm seeing there. The BvS one is still very good, but the JL one just looks a bit more realistic all around.
